In their own words
Photos attached are only some of the damage, over 100 photos have been taken. Scheduled a move with Two Marines Moving partly because my husband is USMC and we believed that they would be ethical, professional, and reliable. However, the move started with issues because the packer did not show up for day 1. Day 2 the large team of movers showed up but more than half of the team was inexperienced and unable to carry my bulky and solid wood furniture.
As per my spouse's comments "This move rates as one of the worst two moves we've had out of 12 moves we've done in 24 years." The move came with issues. 1. Three of the five packers knew what they were doing. They weren't particularly fast, but did a good job. The other three were incompetent and acted as if this was their first move. Next only one hanger box was used properly. One had two small pieces of tape on to hold the metal rod, which fell into the box. The rest were not used properly.
We have used two marines moving before, but this current move has become a total nightmare. We contracted for a flat rate and a 20ft truck with an understanding that if it fits on the truck it ships, but they arrived in a 26ft truck. The crew was great for loadout and no worries until moments before delivery when they informed us that we owed money for the additional weight (flat rate?) and wouldn't deliver until payment was made.
DON'T DO IT!!! This company did not show up on the reserved move day. I called they said the truck broke down and gave me a new time, they did not show up so I called again and they had another excuse and time. I called again because they did not show up. After the 3rd time, I told the male over the phone to be honest, if the movers aren't coming just say it so I can find another way. He said they are on the way and some strange number sent a text but they never came.
As a Veteran I am sad to say this is not the moving company you want to do business with. They showed no care in packing and moving my family. I have been trying to call them for weeks and they never answer there phones now. They are the prime example of Poor Quality, Poor Value, Not Professional, and Not responsive. My honest recommendation is go with United or the like for less money. Please stay away from this company in moving you! They do not have Honor, Courage, or Commitment!
I do not recommend this company. As a military family living on a military base, we thought this company would understand the trials of getting on a military base and military moving. We were happy to support a company owned by veterans. …
Never again for numerous reasons of unprofessionalism,so mad. Prying into my private life ahead of move and during, quickly spammed by PayPal after the $150 reserve charge, lying about truck(was quoted a 20 foot size coming but they …
I was excited to support a veteran owned business. We were quoted $3,900 for a three bedroom home and the owner even discounted that amount by$200 for my wife and my military service. The movers were pleasant and wrapped everything …

In their own words
I recently used Two Marines Moving & Storage for my move on the 28th, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Louis Bennett, our moving coordinator, did an outstanding job helping us plan and organize everything ahead of time. He was responsive, professional, and made the entire scheduling process smooth and stress-free. On moving day, Jason and Dayvon handled the entire process with professionalism and efficiency, moving items from two different locations into one new apartment in about four hours.
Joe Martinez from Two Marines was prompt and polite. He organized the move for me and my military family. He did everything very respectfully and was always available whenever I called to clarify questions I had. Additionally, the crew was great. Rimsey, Steve, Dupree, Dacean and Charles were very polite and very honest. When they scraped a wall in the new house, Rimsey immediately let me know and scheduled someone to come out and fix it within 48 hours. I would definitely recommend Two Marines.
I had a great experience with this moving team from start to finish. They were professional throughout the entire process. From the moment they arrived, they handled everything with care and respect, making what is usually a stressful day feel smooth and manageable. They worked quickly without cutting corners, took extra precautions with fragile items, and made sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it in my new space.
Two Marines got back to me for a last minute move, were up front about pricing, communicated well & were flexible with day of timing based on my POD arrival. Ernie & Jason were friendly & SO conscientious. We have a super tricky 4 story townhouse that is miserable to move in/out of and this is the first time we didn’t end up with multiple huge patches in the walls. On top of it, they never complained! We’ve have so many movers in this townhouse over the years and that was a first. Would def recommend!
