In their own words
The first time I hired J&J moving they were great. This time, they confirmed my move & then texted me to cancel literally 3 minutes before they were supposed to start unloading. They asked to move it to tomorrow which isn’t possible. That was the last communication I’ve received. 40 minute later there no additional text, no email and he’s not answering his phone. I’m moving is so stressful already and to have movers just skip out when you’ve already taken time off work and prepared everything is really brutal.
I will preface this with I don't like leaving reviews. I had called a few days before hand and scheduled a time to have these guys come out. $150 for the truck/gas and $125 an hour. I was delighted! …
For the safety of our staff and other customers we cannot move a customer that has a bed bug infected home. I’m not really sure why you gave us a 1 star review because of that. I’ve sent you video evidence once I read this review. We talked to your husband and he seemed to know of the issue.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
Good, clear communication from initial inquiry to the completion of the move. Demetrius and D'Angelo were pleasant, respectful, and a joy to work with. They took care in wrapping each item to keep it protected during the move. The move was completed in the time initially estimated so no surprises at the end over cost.
My two movers, Orlando (and I'm sorry I forget your colleague's name!) were prompt, helpful, and efficient for my move from Starkville Mississippi to Ohio. They secured my valuable items just as requested and I'm very grateful! Thank you!
I had a great experience with J & J Moving! They were extremely helpful and were able to take my job on very short notice, which I truly appreciated. Travis and Jes were super helpful, professional, and made my moving day smooth and stress-free. They handled everything with care and worked efficiently the entire time. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for reliable movers!
J & J Moving was great to work with and I would so highly recommend them to anyone! From a cost perspective - they had the best deal by far! Jordan and Dylan were amazing to work with as well! They were willing to do anything requested and were very effective and efficient. 😊 …
