MOVING MICHIGAN AND STORAGE

++BUYER BEWARE** This was the worst moving experience I've ever had! I understand that sometimes things happen that aren't in their control, HOWEVER providing ZERO COMMUNICATION when I had already experienced how important communication was to me is completely unprofessional especially when your 3 hours late!! Then how do you have a nasty attitude because you were late?!

Worst moving experience I have ever had! We had two movers show up. As their working one of the movers suddenly disappeared. His co-worker was looking for him. We went searching around the whole house and he was just gone. They all tried to get a hold of him no one could reach him. Then finally found out he had went to urgent care because he was feeling sick. I completely understand feeling sick and having to leave but not telling anyone was very rude.

Bait and switch! Just look at the recent reviews. They clearly don’t want the business or they think they are doing so well that they think they can cuss at customers. Was quoted a price, paid a deposit and a couple days before the move, double the price. Absolutely insane that this is how they do business. Sham of a company.

By far the worst moving experience of my life. When we called to set up the move, we went through every room in the house and told them how many boxes we had and what furniture was in there. They showed up with the smallest truck ever and two guys. We asked if they were making more than one trip, and they said no. So when I called to ask where the miscommunication was, the manager yelled at me and told me he will tell his crew to empty the truck and cancel my move.

Worst experience ever! I found 4 different bags from fast food restaurants packed in with my valuables. They used my boxes as their trash. The boss didn’t show up once even though he promised he’d be there the entire time and his employees kept disappearing or were on “breaks” longer than they actually worked. Many items are still missing from the move and thousands of dollars in materials was damaged in the move.

We contacted Moving Michigan to move some of our furniture on a Friday. On Thursday it was obvious that we were running late, so we called and asked that the move be rescheduled to the following Wednesday. The truck showed up on Wednesday, and the men in the truck were great. However, our furniture was kept captive until we paid additional false charges.

My sister and I paid them separately to move us out of her 2 flat apartment building on the same day. She lived upstairs and I downstairs. They mixed out storage together and she got some of mines and I got some of hers. I am missing pots, pans, folding chairs, beach chairs, my nice sets of towels, face cloths and sheets. Missing comforter sets and more boxes. Finally they found my parents portraits. My step ladder had been used also my regular ladder, and and no telling what else.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Spoke with Jackie who seemed nice and took all my information. Quoted me $1700 for a total of 6 hours including truck fee. Got a call TWO days before the move asking for $3500 to $4000 for the EXACT same move. Tried to bully me into paying. He started cussing at me and tell me that if you want to play the "idgaf card" we can play that card. Absolutely the worst. Ended up canceling the whole move.
