I wish I could leave a more positive review, because my first two recitals at this venue were okay. The space itself is nice, and when things ran smoothly, the events were pleasant. That said, there were early signs of communication issues. for example, the staff double booked us for our first recital, and they arrived 30 minutes late to our second recital. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing and damaging to my business.

I never went there, however spoke with the owner by phone regarding a piano I wondered if he'd be interested in having for free, sent a picture of a piano he asked for, and he never got back to me. Disappointing.

I shopped at all of the piano stores in the Detroit area and I found The Piano Place to have the best selection with quality options at all budget ranges, and the most knowledgeable staff. I also am a piano teacher and I held my students' recital in the Piano Place recital room, which is a very nice space with a fantastic grand piano (two actually).
Outstanding experience purchasing my hard to find Mason and Hamlin bb from The Piano Place in Troy Michigan. The staff were exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful throughout and service and delivery were the best. My highest recommendation.
Came for a recital and stayed to look at the pianos as I’ve been looking into one for a little while. It was very nice to get to see all the brands of pianos and learn about them! Very helpful in figuring out what i’d like.
Had a piano recital in their studio and it was so nice! The pianos were great and the sound was wonderful! The staff was so nice and went out of their way to make it a special event. Thank you!
