DO NOT USE!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE they completely took advantage of me!!!!! I was charged triple the price I was quoted. I was charged the same amount it cost me to move from CT to CA. They came with the wrong truck and couldn't fit some of my belongings even though I was very clear about the amount of bins and furniture I had prior to the move. Most of my furniture was broken do to them throwing it off the back of the truck. My couch, bed, night stand, 2 dressers, and entertainment systems were all ruined.
The worst moving experience we have ever had. And over the last 15 years we have moved about 8 times in different parts of the country. There was miscommunication from the very beginning. Our things were not properly packed or moved, with lots of broken items including antiques. When we asked why all of our things were not properly packed, we were blamed for not telling them to pack everything, which was a lie.
Blocked my driveway for an hour even after I asked them to move so my wife could get to the dentist. Not rude per se, but agreed to move the truck then went right back to doing what they were doing. I will never hire this company and recommend against doing so if you don't want your new neighbors to hate you going in.
I have been trying to get in contact with them for my move, and I've asked them to email me back because I cannot pick up calls while at work, but my communication preferences have not been respected. I have not gotten any response from them except for a voicemail that asked me to call back, but when I called back, I wasn't able to get a human at all and waited on hold for a very long time.
No single item moves. I need a new mattress moved from the Mission to the Haight and would willingly pay for it but was immediately told, "We don't do single item deliveries." Too bad that's nowhere on their website.
Drivers claim traffic was bad... but they went to have dinner and charged us the extra 1.5 hrs. Tried to contact the company to get it taken care of - to no avail.

These guys were OUTSTANDING! Hire them for your peace of mind. 1. Punctual and communicative: They called when on the way and a few days out to confirm all our needs. Tip: call is better than email--they always picked up but struggled with email reply. 2. Professional: We had 3 movers for around 30 boxes, some small furniture and fragile items (like electric keyboard). We packed ourselves. They took care to explain how fragile items were going to be moved and protected.
Made a small move within sf. The crew showed up on time and they were all friendly and professional. They advised me of any damages prior packing. So when I had a quote they never mentioned additional fees to wrap the furnitures. Not a big deal 10$ per piece. Then I had to go thru an agreement to sign and that’s when that was an issue. I wish this was bought up to me prior them showing up where I would had time to go over it.

We had a very good experience with Jay's Small Moves. We would definitely use them again or recommend them to our friends and family. They were courteous and on time and were careful with all of our items including some exepensive furniture. We needed to move our 10 x 20 storage unit to a new location and a smaller storage unit. We also were moving some of the items to our home in San Ramon. Jay's Small Moves met us at the storage unit, called ahead of time to let us know that they were arriving.
Jay's was AMAZING! These guys are fantastic at what they do and they are super friendly while they do it. We had a POD that was placed about a half a block down a steep hill from our apartment. These great Gentlemen arrived and knew what they were doing from the get go. They helped moved all of our heavy furniture up the block and then up three flights of stairs! All three of them were basically running the stuff up the stairs, then back down to get more. I could not recommend them more highly.
