Items broken, missing furniture, and no resolution after THREE WEEKS. My experience with Journeyman Moving was terrible. The moving out experience was great, with Aaron coming directly to help me move out of my apartment, wrapping pieces carefully, and being accommodating. I had my stuff stored with them for a bit over 2 months. During the move-in process, we encountered delays because the truck broke down, which meant I had to pay for a hotel room for two days. No big deal, it happens.

Michael and James were horrible with packaging,moving,assembling, and time management.we have stated where we wanted to try and finish in the 2 hour mark and they proceeded to take 20 minutes even getting supplies out of the truck to prep for packaging, then proceeded to tell their boss they arrived 9:05-9:15 which they did not they arrived at 10(i have the photo of when it says they arrived) they didn’t start working until 10:40 they sat In their U-Haul I guess twirling their thumbs debating on to call or come…

This moving company moved my mother's furniture back in July to her new home. During the move they had one guy injured who didn't do anything much and one that just broke stuff like lamps, wall art and mirrors but we let it slide. Two of the guys worked really hard but because of the other two the move took over 13 hours and they charge hourly. The guys dropped a dryer on the driveway & scratched it up but we said no problem it won't show once installed.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review on behalf of your mother. While we understand your frustration, we want to clarify a few key details regarding this situation. From the very beginning, all communication and agreements were made directly with your mother.
We hired them because they came across very professional, and we're known. Also because of the value of items being moved. And Aaron, the head guy said they would be there at 8am. the next morning. 4 men, 2 trucks. $250 an hour. Ok. I ask did I need to get totes, boxes,tape... anything, as alot were loose items. His response was "No ma'am we have all that, its covered. You guys don't worry about a thing" EXCEPT (One truck came at 8:20, the other about 8:45.

I am unfortunately having to update my review. The company moved a large home, and scratched a few pieces of furniture in the process, and did not completely set up furniture before leaving the new residence. We understood that mistakes happen, after contacting them they were nice and said they would pay to get the furniture fixed.

Broken items, crew left cigarette butts at old residence on the ground, our new buyers did not appreciate this , way overpriced and was. 5 mile move in the same city. Will never use this service ever again.
Marcus and Daniel were great although I will not use this company again. There were major discrepancies between what we were told and what happened. 2 BR apartment move 8-24-26

Update/August 2026 move. I have used Journeyman for the last few moves, and they are nothing less than amazing. This time, Trent, Bustin, Tay and Collin did a wonderful job. They are careful, and treat our items as if they were their own. I will always be a loyal customer. Aaron and crew were nothing short of amazing. I wish I could give them more than five stars. Aaron was on the phone with me until 11:00 pm and showed up at 9:00 am the next day to get me out of a jam when I had to vacate an apartment quickly.

Where do I start? I had my movers not show up on the day of the move and I panicked. I reached out to a company called journey man moving and they showed up last minute to save the day they came out here, unloaded the remaining items in my truck were very friendly personable and easy to work with their booking process couldn’t of been any easier and they were a company of there were they showed up on time and communicated with me the whole way they made my day and life a lot less stressful and I will be a customer…
