We were referred to Just Move It by a family member, but our experience was a total mess. We requested an additional mover to make the process smoother and agreed to pay extra for this service. Unfortunately, things went downhill from the start. First, the crew arrived late and drove over our neighbor's lawn, causing significant damage. They were unable to maneuver the truck properly, which resulted in torn-up grass and an unnecessary hassle for everyone involved.
Disappointed in their services. The guys arrived on time but decided to wait for another helper which added to the bill. I was being charged while they waited for the other person. I left to go get the keys to the new place and I comeback seeing them taking another break(I get taking a break but this was longer than 15 mins) Plus I'm being charged for their time at $126 per hour. Then when the helper arrives it turned to $143 per hour. So there is about an hour they waited for the helper to arrive.
Real person leaving a real review: I don't take leaving a review of this type lightly. I'm a firm believer that small businesses truly are the backbone of this country. I leave this review with a somewhat heavy heart after going out of my way to resolve things privately and fairly with the owner of the business. We contracted Just Move It to move from our 4 bed/4 bath house in Winter Park, FL, to our new home in Winter Springs, FL, on 6/5/24.
Sir we have already addressed all of these concerns by phone and text and in the previous review your wife has already left regarding the same issues before we even had a chance to respond to any of your emails.
The owner Brian will gaslight you and not take ownership for his actions. He will tell you one thing and that will not happen. What I was advised would happen did in fact not happen and the amount of time I heard “ma'am I would never say or quote that.... “, When I have some of the items in writing!!! The movers were over an hour late, did not protect our items, there are missing guitars and drill, left the house a mess, left furniture blankets, lost bed hardware so I had to buy a new bed, left the garage a…
I would absolutely not use Brian (owner) again for any service he offers. Not only did the team damage things, and they have you sign a ridiculous maximum they’ll pay for broken/damaged items, they’ll also send a completely unprofessional team who claims they can handle the work in a timely fashion but bill you 10 hours+ for a local move. They didn’t even place all items properly and/or dispose of their trash they used to wrap my items with.
Sir we addressed all concerns in a professional manner. We apologize the legal required compensation in the state of Florida was not enough to satisfy you but unfortunately all moving companies follow the same guidelines.
A $300-$400 1 bedroom quoted job turned into $700 LITERALLY. Oh and this price was AFTER “discounts” i didn’t ask for and a supposed near $100 deduction … so I would have been looking at close to $1000 … what a JOKE. I was assured by the owner that the movers would work fast and efficient. The two men that were sent moved slow & and were not physically equipped. It almost seemed as though they dragged their feet on purpose as the charges are hourly.
We apologize for your experience with Just Move It, this does not live up to our standard of service. We investigate all feedback from our unhappy customers to determine what went wrong so we can make it right with the customer and avoid future recurrence.
Don’t be fooled by all the good reviews! I have also caught them deleting any bad reviews. Cory and Andre of “Just Move It” were fast and friendly, but at the cost of missing and damaged items! I’ve been trying to work things out with the owner, Brian Green, but he refuses to accept accountability. He says he’s 100% positive nothing happened, even though he wasn’t there!!

Just move it is the worst moving company and I would not recommend them to anybody they asked for tip and claimed that their boss is not paying them enough money they packed my stuff in the truck and when I realize half of it was left back in the house and I have to go run to you along get somebody to drive it and pay different people to move the rest of my belongings that was left in the house they picked up my stuff and just threw it inside of my mini storage and they also forgot to pick up my adjustable…

Everyone's experience will be different, but my experience was great! I am a law student, so moving in the middle of the semester was unplanned and caused me a lot of anxiety. When they showed up, not a lot was packed or broken down on my end because I was so busy and stressed, but they helped and did everything with ease, and everything I needed to move was done within 3 hours. Keep in mind that I had a lot of big furniture, especially my 4-piece sectional.

We hired Just Move It on May 22, 2018 to move my elderly mother's furniture from one assisted living facility to another. They arrived early and assisted my husband with the monitor (television) and even helped load my mother's personal belongings.
