I had a scheduled move for Feb 28, 2022, with a crew of four and two trucks. They showed up on time, out of the the four young men only one had on a mask, my fiancé politely asked them why don’t the three of you have on a mask and could you put one on because we are not vaccinated. They all left out went and went to there truck and got masks.
Recently used Katy Movers to move houses and the overall experience was terrible. When they were packing the truck I had to leave for a couple hours to go get keys to the new house, came back and all the movers were sitting around playing on the their phones. Not long after that one of them quit and just left. The moving truck driver drove into my new yard making a big hole where the tires got stuck, then tried to act like nothing happened.

If you are looking for a mover, give this one a miss. First, I will say I have used them twice previously. Both times things went fine. However, this time something changed in the office. I called last Friday around 2-2:30, requesting to hire someone to come out to lift my baby grand piano so I can take the rug out from underneath it. The piano isn't getting even moved like the last time they did for me but lifted up so I can pull the rug out and not even put another one in place of it.

Katy Movers was awful! I would have given them 0 stars if that were allowed. Overall, I felt completely trapped. Once the majority of my belongings were packed into their truck, it began to rain. Only then did the movers point out the gaping whole in the leaky truck, I had few options other than to just get through the move. I was told mixed stories regarding policies by several different employees and I had a very difficult time communicating with the management.
Absolutely HORRIBLE! We are currently waiting at my storage for drivers who were scheduled to be here for 2p. We were told it would be another hour or so, fine. We let them know we needed to be out of the unit before 5p. We also streamlined the process to ensure only large furniture was left so we could be out on time. As of just a minute ago Tony or Leo who we were able to make communication with this entire time refused our calls and when sent a text the only response has been give us a moment.

To begin I myself spoke to Mrs. Acree 1st and hours were spent quoting and informing Mrs. Acree of our coverage options. My name is Mary Beth I am the office manager. You will see that she has not mentioned me at all though I alone spent over an hour with her upon her first call.

We hired Katy Movers and I am so glad we did. Besides the pricing being the best in the area, the preparation before the move and phone call to confirm the details was definitely a pleasant surprise and really set the tone of the experience. The day of move was even better. Christian, John, and Darrell arrived on time and immediately got to work. They were able to get our home loaded completely in less than an hour and communicated thoroughly along the way. The unloading was smooth and efficient.
Nothing but positive things to say. The person answering the phone was courteous and helpful. The 3 men that moved me were prompt and careful. They made moving easy. I will definitely use them in the future.
I was helping my friend move her mother last week and was so impressed by the service they received. Henry's crew was so quick and helpful - they went of the way to help in every way possible. I will not hesitate to use this company or recommend them to friends.
Fast and efficient. Very easy process. All the employees, from office staff to movers were very friendly and respectful. They moved our things to 2 locations: storage and then an apartment. I would recommend Katy Movers for your local move.
