My experience with Keep It Moving couldn't have been worse. What should have been a simple storage-to-storage move turned into a weeks-long nightmare. I initially hired them to move my belongings from my house into a storage unit, and that move went well. Because of that, I hired them again to move everything to another storage facility closer to my home. That's when the problems started. Their office quoted the move at 4 hours and 45 minutes, and I approved the estimate a week in advance.
Supposed to arrive at 9:00 am. At least an hour late. Supposed to send 4 men. Got 2 men and an 18 year old. Took many breaks, cell phone, smoking. Didn't fit everything in the truck. I had to move many items. Took almost 2 hours to drive from Poplarville to Picayune. Said they had to reroute due to low hanging tree limbs. Damaged door frame. Broke refrigerator door. Small items still missing. Other more minor damages. Sent pictures and complaints to email provided. That was a month and a half ago. Still no reply.
This company is unprofessional at fullfilling its contract. We paid over 1800$ for a 3 bedroom house move on Nov. 26. We had multiple items that were damaged and this company is providing zero help on getting these items addressed. Its been over 2 weeks and all we are told is " we don't handle the claims but we will put a word in for them to call you" or " I'll give you their email address". Sorry that just isn't going to work. We have already sent multiple emails.
What began as a great experience at the beginning of the day quickly changed to a negative one. I was moving from my apartment in Baton Rouge to Slidell at the end of March. My original plan was to have one set of movers in Baton Rouge load a truck. Keep it Moving was going to meet me in Slidell to unload that truck. Unfortunately, the BR movers fell through but Keep It Moving told me they were willing to come out there and load the truck. For this part I will say kudos to Keep it Moving for being flexible.
These people are NOT REAL OR LEGAL!!!! They are using both LEGAL BUSINESSES FROM UP NORTH!!! The trucks on the Google/Chrome are not theirs!!!! They don’t own anything!!! They use RYDER BOX TRUCKS BECAUSE THEY ARE ALREADY IN TROUBLE WITH DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. Their business license is fake & fabrication from the internet. They will OVER CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD , break your belongings. Tell you that they will send you a refund through their NONEXISTENT REUND IR DAMAGE DEPARTMENT.
They hit my gate and broke it on the way out. They also dinged up some of my furniture. The movers were really nice guys, but it took forever with a lot of sitting around and they left some furniture at my first house too saying they couldn’t fit it in two trucks (I saw plenty of space on the 2nd one) it’s also been a month and they haven’t done anything about my broken gate.
We hired Keep It Moving to move a lady out of a double-wide trailer. We told them the only appliance was a TV. Two movers showed up and could not have been more rude. They were mad at their boss because, according to them, he should have …
Where do I start? From the first lie? I was given a time for this company to arrive- they were an hour late. The men who showed up pretended to call their supervisor- they didn’t want to do the work. This company basically stole 150.00. …

My family experience was great! The company representative was very polite and professional. The movers arrived on time and greeted my family professionally, and they did a great job preparing our furniture to move, loading, and delivering it to destination, without any damages or problems. I had a last-minute move, and thankfully Move It Movers was able to squeeze me in. Steve and Durelle were professional, efficient, polite, and — most importantly — strong! They did a great job, handled everything with care, and made the whole process so much easier. We are officially moved out, as you can see!! I am so grateful for their help. Highly recommend!
