In their own words
HORRIBLE!!!!!!! DO NOT USE! Showed up late. Said they had to charge for 2 flights of stairs when it was just 1 easily navigable flight of stairs and I was quoted for 1. DAMAGED OUR HOUSE IN MULTIPLE AREAS. Wish I would have gone with Pro Piano Movers.
We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience. Keyboard Carriers is now under new ownership, and we are working diligently to improve our service, transparency, and customer communication.
What a bunch of jerks to get in the hov lane on I25 doing 60! Swerving all over the road like their drunk! Who knows! I would never hire these people to transport anything of mine! And then once we tried to go around them they brake checked us and was laughing about it! I will be filing a complaint with the company on Monday as well! Update: The owner called me at my place of employment today, like he had the right to do so! He told me he "investigated who I was".
Please call me directly. Douglas - Owner Cell: [phone removed] Hi Jamie, we take safety seriously and do not tolerate unsafe driving. We’ve reviewed our internal footage and did not find any evidence supporting the concerns described here.
I have got to say that this was the worst experience I have ever had with any company ever. The customer service was rude and annoyed whenever my husband and I called in to check on everything or ask questions or update information. They never called. I had booked a month ahead of time and no one communicated with me and my husband the process or expectations or anything. The secretary was completely annoyed I even asked if they provide transport of my bench and covers because my last company did not.
Hannah, I am truly sorry for your frustrating and stressful experience. There is absolutely no excuse for poor communication, lack of professionalism, or leaving you in the dark about your scheduled move. You deserved better, and I deeply regret that we didn’t deliver.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I'll just get to the point. I called and made and appointment and talked about all the costs associated with the move and agreed on their estimate. I called a day prior to the move to get my time slot for the next day and was told they had to charge me $100 extra for a mileage charge. I said point A to B was only 11 miles and they responded the mileage is charged from their office. This should have been noticed during the lengthy conversation I had the day that I scheduled.
We completely understand why you’re frustrated, and we sincerely apologize for the experience you had. Keyboard Carriers is now under new ownership, and I want to personally assure you that transparency, communication, and reliability are our top priorities moving forward.
Damaged our piano, ignored the damage, amateur movers. From the get go it was clear these movers neither had a general respect for people nor had much experience moving pianos. If you're a piano moving company that has horrible customer service, predatory pricing, and an absence of punctuality - the pianos you move had better arrive in the same shape they left in. We gave notice immediately following the move of the damage to the piano and included before and after photos proving the damage came from the move.
We sincerely apologize for your experience, and while we cannot undo what happened, we want to acknowledge your frustration and disappointment. Keyboard Carriers is now under new ownership, and we are working hard to restore trust, improve service, and ensure accountability in every move we make.
The piano made it safely, but they gave us a quote initially over the phone which seemed like a fair price, I described both homes and access to both homes accurately over the phone, including going through the yard. when they arrived they charged us an outrageous “yard fee” for 60 seconds of having to wheel the piano through some grass, which they knew about over the phone.
First and foremost, I’m glad your piano made it safely, but I’m truly sorry that the experience was frustrating and left you feeling misled. Keyboard Carriers is now under new ownership, and one of our top priorities is ensuring that pricing is fully transparent, fair, and communicated clearly…
The movers did a great job - they were on time and moved the piano safely and effectively. The receptionist, Theresa, was really tough to work with - very unresponsive via email and I didn't get an estimated pick up time until the day before - I would have had to cancel the move if it didn't line up with my work schedule. She was also quite rude on the phone and really unprofessional to work with. Her unresponsiveness and lack of professionalism caused me a lot more anxiety than necessary for this piano move.
I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience with our office communication was frustrating. While I’m glad the movers did a great job, I completely understand that the scheduling process and customer service should be just as smooth—and it sounds like we fell short in that regard.
Do not trust them. Their guys hit my parked car and drove off. Luckily bystanders took a picture and left a note on my car telling me who did. When I called they refused to take responsibility and implied I was not telling the truth. I ended up having to get police involved. Don’t trust people that can’t take responsibility for the damage they cause to other people’s property. Look at the reviews and see how much people complain about damage to their stuff and Teresa doing nothing about it.

In their own words
They were able to book on pretty short notice; the movers were on time, extremely professional and efficient; they were very cautious about wrapping my grandmothers piano to protect it; I highly recommend!
Great communication, very reasonable price, on time. I have never used a mover, or moved a piano and was a bit anxious. The piano was picked up and delivered within the one hour time frame I was given, and the piano is in tune after the move. Thanks!
Kate, we’re so glad we could make your first piano move a smooth and stress-free experience! 🎹👏 Great communication, fair pricing, and timeliness are what we aim for, and it’s always a bonus when the piano stays in tune after the move! Thank you for trusting us, and we appreciate your kind words!
Had a console organ picked up in Longmont and delivered to my home in Denver. The scheduling seemed a little off. The instrument was picked up in Longmont as scheduled within the assigned window and a notification about a half hour before arrival. I expected the instrument to be delivered about 45-60 minutes after it was picked up. About 3 hours, I checked on the delivery and was told that the truck had gone to Bailey.
Thank you for the thoughtful review and for choosing Keyboard Carriers. We really do appreciate your business. With the number of piano and organ moves we handle each day across the Front Range, our trucks are often scheduled to multiple locations, so deliveries don’t always go straight from pickup…
From the very beginning, my experience with Keyboard carriers was extremely professional, convenient and pleasant! What I appreciated most was the steadfast communication via text for all critical points in the process, and also the friendly and competent staff working behind the scenes. As with any unknown service, especially a unique niche like Moving pianos, I didn’t know what to expect… They surprised me with the best price in town, a moving crew that went above and beyond during a torrential downpour…
