Avoid King Movers at all costs. If you're looking for Minneapolis moving companies, steer clear of this one. These are by far the worst movers in Minneapolis I’ve ever dealt with. I paid a deposit upfront, and then they completely ghosted me. No calls, no emails—nothing. I tried following up multiple times, and got radio silence. They stole my deposit and never showed up on moving day, leaving me scrambling to find a last-minute replacement. Totally unprofessional from start to finish.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! King Movers was supposed to arrive between 8am and 9am but NEVER SHOWED UP! Called, texted, emailed many times with no response. We had a 4 hour window to unload a pods delivery in Minneapolis but no movers resulted in additional charges. King Movers never acknowledged the issue.
Based on the amazing reviews, I was looking forward to hiring a small local business to move us. Unfortunately I was less than satisfied. We hired two movers with a truck for an 11 am arrival. We did not hear any confirmation until I reached out at 10 am. They said they wouldn't make it until noon. No biggy. Three men arrived in a U-Haul truck shortly after 12pm, with one making a comment about how he just woke up.

We hired this company based on their 'excellent' reviews and reasonable pricing, but unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. We had 4 movers for a relatively straightforward move – a master bedroom, a decent-sized nursery, and a small office ( even though we were quoted for 2 movers at 5-8 hours). One of the movers even said it wouldn't take too long once they arrived and saw all that we had.

Scammers, stole my 300$ deposit with no way to contact them about a refund. I booked with king movers and a few days later they emailed me saying they had to cancel the move due to a medical emergency in the company. Ok, I get it, things happen. However, in addition to having to organize new movers last minute, they gave me no way to contact them in regards to getting my deposit back. Multiple emails and phone calls have gone unanswered for a month now.

A warning for future customers, they’ll take your deposit and disappear. These people are as deeply unserious as a business can get—lacking professionalism, reliability, and respect for customers’ time. Questioning the legitimacy of the rest of the reviews on here.

This is the second time I have used their service and would highly recommend them. My exact moving date wasn’t going to be fixed until the end, but they were flexible enough to accept my booking and accommodate me anytime in a 3 day window. They showed up on the exact date and time once I finalized everything. The movers - Jorge and Jim - did an excellent job. They clearly understood my concerns and took care of everything. They were very careful with all the delicate things.
