Krupp Moving & Storage - Columbus Movers

This company made my parents move the worst day of their life! They showed up two hours late. They only packed one of the two trucks, and then said they were leaving. We had to beg them to fulfill their contract and load two trucks as we had agreed-upon in the contract. Mind you my parents are in their 80s. Had we not been there, as their children, the company would have just left half the house in the house. We brought them lunch and half of the crew was smoking pot at the truck.

I would give negative stars if it were possible. Avoid this moving company, unless you want your stuff lost, broken or to arrive late or not at all. The management staff, especially Dakotah are terrible at communicating. It will take multiple emails and phone calls if you happen to have a problem. We took the time to value our expensive items and signed for the total replacement cost. Unfortunately two of our items were damaged. One can not be repaired because it isn’t made anymore and parts don’t exist.

If I could give this company a minus rating I certainly would. I met with a representative of the company and walked her through our home. She knew/seen everything that we needed moved including a piano, a treadmill and several heavy pieces of furniture. I asked several times if any of it would be an issue. Her response was her team could do it no problem. BUT it was a problem. Note - We moved majority of the boxes and little things before they arrived.

I used Krupp’s last year to move my family to a different state, about 500 miles away. Their fees were significant (I paid about $8,000) but at the time, it seemed reasonable compared to other quotes I got. Given that and the positive reviews I saw, I went with them. That was a Big mistake. First, they woefully underestimated the amount of truck space I needed. Thus, they couldn’t fit all of my items. This resulted in my needing to rent a last minute U-Haul, which cost me a great deal more money.

Extremely disappointed with Krupp Moving and Storage. Their communication is absolutely terrible. They didn’t deliver on the promised date, never notified anyone before showing up for pickup, and failed to let anyone know when they arrived at the drop-off location. I had to keep calling just to get basic information, and every time they said someone would call me back — no one ever did. This entire experience was unorganized, unprofessional, and frustrating from start to finish.

We are finding many silly stuff. Like one tiny lightbulbs wrapped separately. Everyone that is helping unpack is saying "how much did you pay for THIS"? I'm out a lot of money for ridiculous moving job. They were drrat the first day. The second day was something no one should pay 5 grand for. It was less than 20 miles. 1 truck.. Scary...I feel scammed and ANGRY now that I saw it unpacked. I wish I could get my money back for the horrible job. Karma and word of mouth are coming for you when you take this off.

Arrived on time. Loaded the truck using every last inch. Quick and efficient. Very professional. Same for the unloading. Zack, Brandon and Isaha were great. Hope we don't move again soon but would definitly recommend these 3 and this company to anyone. Edit: This turned into a scam and someone at the company stole my credit card information. Don't recommend.
