Had booked in chapter 2 intervention this company in Toronto and it was an amazing experience. What I experienced didn’t even compare. The two gentlemen didn’t have the strength to move stuff, though they use the tools that they had. Lots 0f damage to several itemr. A particular large painting was really badly damaged and it. had very sentimental value as my just passed away. They offered me $100.

After about 40 minutes on the phone getting a small job booked, navigating the sales script for add-ons, insurance, etc. I put a deposit down and we were moving forward with the job. A few hours later they called me back and told me the date we had booked was no longer available (what was the deposit for?) and that they would need to charge me ~30% more than the price we had agreed to. I suspect they just managed to book a job that paid more than mine.

This is a misunderstanding and we would never book a job over another customer simply for the fact that they pay more, we do first come first…
I recently hired this moving company and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The job was handled by two movers — one of them was hardworking and efficient, in fact he did most of the heavy lifting, while the other showed a clear lack of motivation and slowed down the progress of the move. Despite most items being easily accessible in the garage and porch, no bedroom furniture was included, the work took longer than necessary due to frequent delays and lack of effort from one of the movers.

The 3 person crew was nice enough and was on time. However, felt it was quite different which was promised over the phone when the quote was provided and the move itself. The move from a town home took a total of 8 hours which felt as though it was taking advantage in my eyes. The movers spent quite a bit of time talking without much progression and did not wrap a lot of my furniture. Our couch was moved from the truck was completely dark from the dirt as there wasn't any wrapping done.

We booked this company for our move and we took the day off from work for this (it was a Friday). Move was scheduled from 2-4pm, and they called at 3:30 to tell us that they will be late and will arrive between 5-6pm. They called at 5:30 to tell us they would have to reschedule as they aren't done with the previous job. They only gave us $20 off to compensate for this so we just cancelled.

I moved on July 1 when temperatures were 45+. The City experienced historic flooding. On top of the terrible weather, the service elevator was down at my new building leaving the building with one elevator shared with 20 other floors to move the stuff up. Even with all the obstacles of the day Surjit and Raj moved my 2 bedroom apartment efficiently, carefully and with smiling faces.
