Extremely bad experience. Looked at my store which was wooden cases with a small amount of glass a couple of desks and two safes. He made me feel like we were going to get something done when he left. He said to me this doesn't take long to move and I will have a quote to you by the end of the day. I felt it was a done deal. Well he never called me or emailed me a quote. I had to call the next day and the secretarty advised me that he did not have the equipment to move my safes.
"Whenever we have something reported Stolen to us we immediately get the police involved" writes Steve Fontaine, head of Liberty Movers in an email to me. Run don't walk from this company. Steve did admit an employee stole a valuable antique rug during my move, and the Crew Chief had been in touch with the crew member who took it, but the company then refused to make any gesture of restitution to me perhaps because the rug was supposed to be donated to Restore.
I have used them in the past, but now their operation is totally incompetent. They were too busy to send me their best personnel. Liberty Movers damaged multiple items of my property. They have been unresponsive compensating me for all …
Just returned from deployment and looking for movers. Called here and the person answering the phone was a condescending jerk. Will avoid and will recommend to my firefighter and military friends they avoid this company. Receptionist was impatient, continually corrected me on what I needed to move and when I said I was all set she said "Good" and slammed her phone down.
I called to schedule to use their services, woman on the phone was beyond rude. I was told she couldn’t understand me, which wasn’t her concern she was booked up until January anyway then she hung up on me. She was a complete snot. Very unprofessional.

Nothing but great things to say about the job Liberty did in moving my aging parents from MA to VA. From the original walk-through and quote (Paul), to scheduling (Patty), to the actual move-out and move-in (Jamie and his team of super-hard workers), and even through the resolution of a billing discrepancy (Paul again), Liberty was responsive and professional at every turn. They certainly proved the value of a smaller local company.

I will recommend this company to everyone. I had Rob, Paul, and Sammy as my crew. They were MACHINES. They treated my stuff like it was their own. Everything was wrapped in protective blankets and stacked perfectly. They asked so many good questions to make sure everything was done the way we wanted. They were so friendly and enjoyable to be around. We were so impressed by this company and crew and would 100% use them again. 10/10 highly recommend.

We had Liberty Movers transport our piano yesterday. The guys were friendly, courteous, polite and prompt! Took care to protect my newly finished hardwood floors and were in and out in less than 15 minutes! Highly recommend!!

Our movers were very thorough in packing up our items to ensure our items and floors were protected during the moving process. I was impressed with their attention to detail and how smoothly they delivered our items to the new house. I will say, we did have an issue with scheduling that left me temporarily disgruntled-however the owner of the company called us on the weekend and made it right. Thank you!
