In their own words
Don't hire this company! They showed up late, were slow in the process with lots of standing around and they damaged floors, walls and possessions. Adding insult to injury, when I called to try and track down a missing item, the lady in charge (Mandy) did not even inquire about my experience. The item was recovered - they had it all along. In my opinion, a professional operation would have gotten in touch with me first, and not make me call them about it. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Jennifer, I am sorry that you feel that you had a negative experience. As the owners, we always strive to do 110% when taking care of customers or any issues that they might have. We have reached out to you to try to remedy the situation.
UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL, & INCOMPETENT Thousands of dollars worth of damage to our personal belongings, and they flat refused to take any responsibility. On top of that, the owner of the company was extremely aggressive, nasty, and unprofessional towards both my wife and me on multiple occasions. I could go on and on with further details, but simply put, this was the worst commercial experience of my life. RE: Owner's comment below...

Beware! Apparently wearing masks is not standard procedure at this company. Today the owner Jeremy showed up at my elderly parents’ home and came right in without a mask or face covering on. I asked him to wear one and he offered no apology but said “I do have one and usually ask customers.” I also learned that his staff had previously come to move some things without masks and my parents had to provide them for his staff.
We understand these are sensitive times and take all the precautions such as social distancing and wearing masks when necessary. The customers that we deal with need to take precautions as well such as wearing masks to protect themselves.
I don't know about the employees, but the owner of this company is absolute trash. He verbally attacks customers on a personal level when he does not get his way. He is a blackmailer (using money), and shows a history of threats to peoples safety. He has told people he knows their address and wouldn't be afraid to "slap" them if he ever saw them. God bless, and prayers to the owner! I surely hope he gets the help he needs :)

We had a great experience with Liberty Moves! They were able to schedule our move at the last minute to meet our needs. They showed up on time and called us to let us know when they would arrive. Their communication was great throughout the entire moving process. They packed our items very well. They were careful and respectful of our property. The moving guys worked really hard and loaded and unloaded everything very quickly. They were friendly, helpful, and efficient.

This group was fantastic. I had them pack my entire home. They wrapped everything and after unpacking nothing broke. They marked each box and put it in the rooms of my New home. They show up on time and were very professional. Very fair price. I liked the flat rate I received. They went above my expectations. I have already recommended them to my future sister in law.

Booking Liberty Moves for my move from Charleston to Durham was the best decision I have made in a while! They showed up on time, & had a reliable, quick, and most importantly thoughtful crew. What more would anyone want in a moving company? Dependable is what I was looking for, & I definitely got my money’s worth. All of my items, especially my furniture was in prestine condition after unwrapping when I got to Durham. I am so thankful I found this company!

SUPERB! I can’t express how pleased I am with Liberty but I’ll try anyway. Not only were they the lowest of 8 quotes I got they were also the nicest during the quote! Every part of their involvement in our moving was painless and easy!!! Hurricane evacuated everyone and they fit me in the day after evacuation was lifted!!! Impressive, huh? The movers were friendly, efficient, and gentle with our belongings! The owners are so nice. I’d give more stars if I could!
