In their own words
We hired this company once before and really like the service. The second time was a very bad experience.. They charged us $1500 to move us and they destroyed our kitchen table. It is unusable. They also broke our bed frame leg.. They told me somebody would call me nobody ever called me. I called them back and said I need to talk to the owner today. 6/12/26 The owner never called me back and even apologized and see what they could do to make things better.
This company was hired by Aspen Trail retirement home to move furniture out of my elderly parent’s apartment so that new carpet could be installed. Moving the furniture out went smoothly, however when two crew members came back later in the day to move the furniture back in, there were several concerning issues. First of all, some cash went missing from a drawer that my dad had placed aside to use as a tip for the movers. Then we discovered that two of my mom’s treasured rings were gone.
Sorry we weren’t able to impress this time. The workers that were accused of theft of your parents (costume jewelry) and $25 in ones have worked for us for a while. They are a great crew and have been in hundreds of homes and have had many opportunities to steal things of much higher value.
This is a company to avoid at all costs. I have moved many times and this was the absolute worst moving experience I’ve had. They showed up on time which was good but with only a trailer and three guys. The owner said the others would be there shortly with the truck. They showed up but without the truck so they sent a guy to go get it. I went to my closing and came back to find the truck still wasn’t there ( they got pulled over).
We strive for excellence but obviously didn’t “bring it” this time. However in our defense the customer said he was moving all the boxes. When we showed up nothing was moved. That is what threw us into a second day. If it wasn’t for that, we would have finished it in one day.
I am preparing to move so I have had a lot of companies giving me estimates these past two months. I’ve had my windows cleaned, my interior was painted, had some power washing done, and had some spring cleanup on my yard. But I finally had to think about a moving company, and this company had about the worst customer service that I have encountered during this process. Just to be clear, I did not hire them as my moving company.
Sorry about the experience you had. We have definitely worked on this and believe to be a lot better at following through with our estimates. Sometimes it’s hard being a small business. Some days we aren’t busy and others days too busy. Hope you had a good moving experience.
Bottom line up front: This company came highly recommended by my realtor and have great reviews so I thought this move would be a breeze. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the same experience as the other reviewers and it ended up costing me time and money. Details: I moved from a 4.6k sq ft house with detached garage, deck, and storage shed. Move distance was approximately 1200 miles.
Just say you don’t want my business. The only reason I stuck it out for so long was that my new apartment recommended this moving business and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Spent the better part of two weeks trying to get a quote through the online form and re-doing the entire process with someone over the phone. Lots of "we'll call you back" but never any follow-up. I had to initiate the conversation every single time. I was polite and professional at every encounter.
So Matt found your information. A move that small but going that far usually isn’t very cost effective. What Matt was trying to do was get ahold of another lady so we could book a move on the way back and make it cheaper for both of you. In the meantime we ended up not reaching back out.
I tried to schedule 2 different appointments with this company for a quote. The first time was on a Thursday at 9:30. No one showed up. I ended up calling at 9:45 and left a voice mail. Lance called me back at 10:30 and we scheduled another appointment for Saturday at 10 am. No one showed up. Again I waited, and finally got a call at 10:35 from Kevin asking me if I wanted to meet for a walk through. I ended up using Two Men and a Truck They showed up when they promised.
Please check your messages. Kevin called you at 9:22 and asked if you were gone so he could come by. You lived far enough away that we wanted to make sure you were there. When you didn’t answer or call back he fit in another estimate and called you immediately after to say he was coming over.
Honestly super disappointed. I initially left a 5 star review for this company almost a month ago. Despite the expensive cost of hiring the movers, they didn’t put my children’s bunk beds back together. I’ve attempted to have them come fix that multiple times now & the lack of responses is frustrating. At this point I either need them to come fix it or reimburse me for the cost of the bed Editing to respond to the company’s response. I NEVER said that, which is proven in all the text messages I still have.
I talked to Matt about this to see what happened. He said that he made attempts to get ahold of you but you said you were only available between 5-6 pm after work to have us come back out and do that.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
Little Red Wagon has done 3 major moves for us in the past 2 months. Each time, the crew was extremely careful with all of our furniture and belongings. They were polite, efficient, on time, and very experienced. On our last move we had a team of Rick, Adrian, Elijah and Josh. They worked extremely well as a team and we would DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN!! The price was very reasonable and much better than other companies we contacted.
Thank you Beverly. We appreciate your feedback and taking the time to leave a review.
These guys are great!!! I recently hired them to move my large household goods in town cause I had a good feeling about them based on their website and the reviews posted about them, and decided to give them a try. I was very impressed by their communication, friendliness, hard work, fair pricing, and going out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at ease with the move, with both pick up and drop off. I highly recommend this company for your moving needs and will use them for all my future moving needs.
Thanks Daniel. We really appreciate your feedback.
I needed a moving company recently to do two local moves around town. I did some searching and found Little Red Wagon moving company on google. This company is a local small business in Colorado Springs and by far exceeded my expectations! Vince, the owner, was very kind, professional, empathetic and sympathetic to my situation. Unexpectedly, there was a need for a scheduling change. Vince was understanding and accommodating. You can tell Vince is doing work that he really loves.
Kimberly, THANK YOU so much for your kind words! It was a pleasure moving with you, and we wish you nothing but the best for your new move!
Little Red Wagon.... Wow, what can I say? I flew out to Colorado Springs to help my parents move from Colorado Springs to San Antonio where I live with my family. We had no idea about the logistics or cost involved for such a huge project. Vince came out to meet with us and we knew by the time we were 10 minutes into our conversation, that he was the right man for the job. The day of the move he showed up with two other workers on time and went right to work.
Thanks Mark for taking the time to leave your feedback. It surely was our pleasure to meet you and your parents. Thanks for choosing Little Red Wagon and we hope to serve you again in the future.
