I’ll start by saying that based on my experience using Local Moving LLC, I can honestly say I would not work with Local Moving LLC or their President of Operations, Jacob Bauman, ever again, even if they paid me to let them move my furniture. I had what I thought would be a straightforward, easy move. I was moving from a one-bedroom apartment to a two-bedroom unit in the same building.
This mover was very expensive. their top mover was rude. We only had a couple of things of value and they broke the 70 inch TV and did not replace it. Do not use this mover!!!!!
Eric and Juan were the movers and arrived 15 min early (expect the clock to start then). They mentioned wanting another job from 10-12 to fill the hours and turned what should have been a 2 hour job into 4.25 hours, even with everything boxed up prior to arrival and my bf and I helping carry/unload items. Expect to pay more.
Horrible company all the guys are underpaid and work too much. Don't use this company ever. Horribly disgusting. -1000/0 wish I could give zero stars but I have to give them 1 star cuz they only hire felons with ankle bracelets and pay 20$ an hour

From the very beginning, Jacob at Local Moving was absolutely incredible to work with. He handled the reservation process flawlessly and was so accommodating, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire experience. Especially while coordinating a POD and preparing for a cross-country move, he immediately put me at ease and made me feel confident we were in great hands. Then came Antoine, Joe, and Kelly — and wow, they completely knocked it out of the park.
I recently used Local Movers for my move on 9 7 June 2026, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Darian and Antoine were exceptional from start to finish. They were professional, courteous, and provided outstanding customer service throughout the entire move. My move presented a few challenges, including very limited parking and a top-floor apartment with no elevator, but Darian and Antoine handled every obstacle with a positive attitude and incredible work ethic.
I truly had the best experience with this company. I had 2 guys names Tre and Jeremiah. I was stressed the week of, anxious to get it done and of course nervous about strangers coming in and moving my belongings, however they came in and put me at ease. The minute they arrived, they introduced themselves and showed kind, respectful personalities. They were very careful with my stuff, and at the same time were able to get it done quickly.
Joey and Zack were totally amazing and very professional with moving my personal belongings this morning. They were youngsters with a strong work ethic! These guys deserve positive recognition for their attention to detail. With that being said and the reason I gave a 5 🌟 rating, was because of Joey and Zack but I give the company a rating of 4 🌟 because of one huge issue. It's unfair that they charge from the time they leave their warehouse to the time they get back to the warehouse and everything in between.
