In their own words
This is by far the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. I hired this company to move me from Connecticut to Florida. They picked up my belongings on May 19, promising delivery within 3–5 days. It is now June 4, and I still have no delivery date, no updates, and no access to my items. I’m scheduled to leave the country on June 9, which I told them in advance, and they repeatedly assured me my things would be delivered long before then. That was a bold-faced lie.
Nicholas was super helpful and communicative until I paid the deposit. Then I couldn't get answers on anything including what day they were showing up to my home. Never heard from him again, just random people after that. Then they charged me hundreds extra for tape or whatever and again ignored any calls or questions about having all my stuff delivered until they sent me a $700 bill to store it all for another month (or even one day of a month - no pro rate) because they never responded to me trying to give them…
Sorry to hear the process turned into what it did — communication dropping off after the deposit is exactly the opposite of how we want the client relationship to work, and the extra charges you're describing (blanket fees, offload fees, storage without pro-rate) deserve a proper review.
Seriously choose anyone else. They don’t do what they promise even if you have it in writing. The price changes by thousands right before your move when you’re stressed out and are unable to find someone else. They disassemble EVERYTHING and leave you with a bag of screws not knowing what goes to what. They hire random people who answer ads to help unload, not even with the company people. These people don’t care and put stuff in random rooms and scratched out floors.
During pack up and pick/up, had a very tight schedule because I was flying out the same day. Movers arrived 30 minutes past their latest arrival time. My personal belongings were scattered throughout the building in transit to the truck. The boxes were poorly and inaccurately labeled. I was told my shipment would arrive in 2 days during pickup. Over a week later, my belongings arrived. I was charged an extra $900 for a distance fee to unload my belongings at my new location.
Dear Kevin, We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your recent relocation with Mayzlin Relocation LLC. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we continuously strive to improve our services and ensure a smooth moving experience for all our customers.
If I could give less than one star I would. Sadly using Mayzlin has been an absolutely awful experience. I had interviewed several companies for my cross country move and settled on Mayzlin because their sales rep, Nicolas was lovely and accommodating. Unfortunately everything he told me ended up being a lie. I was lucky enough to escape tragic fires in CA only to be stuck in limbo without my things and no guarantee of when or if I will even see my things again.
Dear Stella, I’m truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you've experienced with your move, and I can understand how incredibly frustrating it must be for you to deal with these delays and lack of communication.
There's no language translation on the boxes for those that do not understand English. The tangible contract I signed, check the form of payment methods on your signed contract v. what they tell you. There's no hyperlink to their website linked to their email customer service or website via email mayzlin logo and the Accredited Business logo has zero hyperlink to that sight, and the Accredited Business logo kind of represents that of the Better Business Bureau.
Dear Jason, We're truly sorry to hear about your experience, and we appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. Let's address each issue you've raised: Language Translation on Boxes: We understand the importance of clear communication, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by…
I had high hopes for this company. The original call was promising. But I had a feeling something was off. If I did my homework before I would have learned this company is in violation of the Federal Trade Comissions deceptive advertising policy along with Googles own content policies. There is an open investigation into them. I highly advise anyone to reconsider hiring them.
Very bad decision to chose this company, completely unreliable: increasing the price the moving day, two king the words to change the delivery date. We have been waiting for 2 weeks now and still have not received our items…to be continued

In their own words
They provided quick and courteous communication, and were flexible with my scheduling needs. They arrived promptly and were careful and detail oriented. I would definitely hire again. Highly recommend!
They were transparent about the pricing, gave me an accurate estimate, and then stuck to it. No hidden fees, no surprises – none of that whatsoever. To add to it, the movers were professional, fast, and friendly, and did a superb job with packing and delivery. They’d be my top choice whenever I move again!
We recently moved from GA to FL. We used Mayzlin Relocation- The sales part was very up front about cost and expectations. Of course all the horror stories still kept us up at night worried until move day. Before pick up the driver called to confirm the arrival time with me. He showed up 15 minutes late but he did call to let me know about traffic on the highway. During pick up I was impressed, the crew worked their butts off to make sure everything was packed and ready to go. The definition of efficient!
Overall, I was very pleased with my experience with this moving company. The salesman was transparent and very good about sending over paperwork and answering questions and going over the financial expectations. The pre-moving phone call person went over all of the details and was also clear. The guys who came and packed up my things in a storage unit did a good job too and were friendly. The negatives: the payment system is cumbersome.
