In their own words
Both the movers were great, they handled everything really well. Giving lower stars because they wont compensate you fully for the item if they damage anything. One of my items was damaged in the move and Austin was very rude and handled it really unprofessionally. But again kudos to both the movers. Edit: Added pictures of the damage. When the appliance fell, it broke the handle completely and deformed the sealing area which can be seen in the pictures. So calling it ‘chipped’ is incorrect.

This was a truly disastrous experience. The movers arrived at 10 AM. They weren’t finished loading up the truck until 4 PM. It was only a three bedroom home so I don’t think it should’ve taken any more than two hours. My storage unit closed at 6 PM in my new house that was 3 1/2 hours away. So they had to stay overnight in a hotel in order to move my things into the storage unit in the morning.
Hi David! I did not take care of your move. We referred other movers which you used because I was not available for your dates. I'm sorry it did not work out with who you used! I wished I could've been available for you to give you the 5 star service we provide! Best wishes going forward.
Three days before my move, which was quoted and confirmed through email correspondence, they contacted me and said they forgot to schedule my move and had no availabilty that day. I had to be out the day of the move. I had to scramble to find another company last minute, and was lucky enough to find one with availability. They said they just dropped the ball on my move.
Hi Evan! We offered a very early morning slot for you on the same day, as well as the following day at a discounted rate. You declined both options we offered to accommodate you. As you can see by our reputation we wouldn't leave you hanging as you've stated above..
I was quoted a price of $600 for move from Indy to Greensburg. Ended up costing $1,000. Had to leave before movers were done packing my stuff. Bad mistake. Took them hours to finish up and get to destination. Never Again.
Hi Kathleen! We moved you 2 years ago, your quote was $650 based on 3 hours, you agreed you understand if the hourly rate took longer we would adjust price.. you misinformed us of the complex loading situation which caused your move to take an additional 2.5 hours.
This is probably good for apartment moves. My Mattress was dirty and scratched a few items. Was not pleased. Just okay is not okay! This is what happens when you go cheap it cost you more on the back end.

I was very pleased with the job Austin and his team did! They were on time, polite, careful, quick and worked hard! I had a lot of heavy furniture and they never complained or showed any sign of frustration... unfortunately for me, I’ll be moving again in a couple months, but I’m happy that I already know who I’m going to call to handle my move! Thanks for everything guys!
My experience with Lucas Moving was outstanding. They were professional and responsive throughout the whole quoting process, and provided great service at a fair price. My move was completed much quicker than expected. Highly recommend!
Austin and his associate moved my family with great skill and professionalism. Our move date was tentative based on several factors, yet he remained flexible and worked with me through a few schedule changes. I was surprised at just how friendly, polite, and courteous they both were. On top of that, they exercised great respect and care with our belongings, and got them in place exactly as requested.
From start to finish the Lucas Moving team was awesome to work with! *When I initally called for a quote after business hours, I received a call back with information within 12 hours. *They scheduled my move to take place in less than a week when others were estimating a month out. *Austin continued to be super responsive to calls amd texts from quote to the end of the move. *The day of the move the team showed up EXACTLY when I was told they would!!
