In their own words
Damage was done to home inside and out as well as to my belongings. Miscommunication with office and moving team through out entire process. This lead to the schedule of the move being altered and my move time being delayed with out any notification. I was told in a confirmation call that the movers would arrive at 8 am Monday morning and they didn't arrive until 1 pm.
To paraphrase another reviewer, I wish I could give this company a negative # but this review will spell out exactly who they are in 3 words- lying, theiving garbage! My situation was rather unique since I originally contemplated an international move to Mexico but thankfully didn't because they couldn't even handle shipping 20 personal items to me.
Like others have said, we received a super fast and what I assumed was an accurate quote. Everything was supposedly all set until the morning of our move when the movers showed up with half the supplies they needed. No extra boxes, no materials to pack any of our mattresses, no expectations of what they were actually packing - which was a 3 bedroom house and a barn. They were utterly confused the entire time. Missed entire closets, drawers, and shelving units.
Came highly recommended to us. At first, they seemed great: timely response, well-informed / organized consultation, professional onboarding. But then the actual movers came. What a disaster. Though we specifically requested that they be extra careful with our furniture, almost nothing was unscratched or outright broken. Huge fracture to our headboard, huge indents and scratched to our bar, our night stands, and broken plates and glasses (they packed).

Brad, Chuck, Branden, Conner, Jake & Riley were fantastic! They treated our belongings with respect and care, were efficient and completed every task we asked of them. Ryan who came to complete our estimate & Jen who handled all our paperwork & questions were great as well. Our only complaint was that, while we did receive prior notification of time of arrival for pickup day, we did not receive prior notification of time of arrival on delivery day. I recommend Mabey's Moving & Storage without hesitation.
