This was the worst moving experience of my life so far. I used Magic Moving in 2025 to move from Burien to West Seattle and that team was great, it was 2 people and they took around 3 hours to move my 1 bed/1bath belongings with stairs - on time, efficient, took care of my belongings, and were communicative. I left them a 5 star review! Because of that, my partner and I decided to use this company again to move from West Seattle to Fremont on March 6th, 2026. That was a huge mistake.
We hired Magic Moving to move our new fridge to our kitchen. We were transparent with the office regarding the large size, heavy weight and the number of people suggested for this. When the guys showed up for the move, they had not been told at all about this. The guys were all very nice, understanding and did their best to provide a resolution. After calling into the office, another person was sent out to help assist. After some brainstorming, this was completed successfully.
NOT the same company as Mike Magic Moving. "Manandatruck" bought their assets. Your experience will depend on who this franchise business is going to send out. They sent us an awful team that took almost 10 hours to move the same amount of furniture the real (previous) company took 5 hours to move. Such an unpleasant experience, with one person on the team showing up two hours late and acting like a zombie the whole day.
Not the same company as the older positive reviews are for. Apparently they were bought by a contracting company in the last couple years. New policies and office staff are not respectful or helpful. I ended up canceling my planned move with them, because the way they communicated on pre moving issues was very careless and robotic. Not a good sign for myself and my property being treated with respect during the move.
Edited review: not the same company they used to be. Very strict and dehumanizing policing that are not clearly documented. They now contract out moving jobs instead of hiring directly. Highly recommend! They moved double the stuff in half the time of the last movers I hired. Friendly, efficient, and no items damaged :)

I had a fantastic experience working with Magic Moving and Delivery Services. Victor and José made my move quick and stress-free. Victor and José arrived to my apartment building about 15 minutes early. They got right to work moving my belongings and furnishings out of my second floor, walk-up studio apartment. They literally ran some of the time! Despite working amazingly quickly, they were also gentle with my stuff, wrapping the furniture and handling the boxes I'd labeled "delicate" with care.

We needed help with moving and had a very limited window available to do it. Booking with Magic Moving and Delivery Services was fast and easy. They emailed the over-the-phone estimate and charged a modest fee to reserve the date, then sent a confirmation email immediately as well as another one closer to the date with the cost repeated and time window they’d arrive, ensuring we were still good to go.

Moving sucks but Isa and the crew made things so easy. We had a team of 4 movers. They arrived in good spirits and were able to move us from our 2 bedroom apt to a townhome. Poor guys, our townhome is 3 stories and steep stairs, and for a few of the bigger pieces of furniture they had to take them around the building to bring through the back door, since they wouldn't fit up the somewhat tight stairwells. They took care to wrap our furniture with blankets and wrap, followed directions without skipping a beat.
