In their own words
Very bad. They wrapped our furniture in thin blankets which were more like sheets. Almost every single furniture was dented.they broke a floor lamp too. They caused damages while moving our stuff to our new home and broke our dining room lights while moving stuff. The driver said he will note the damages in his sheet and the company will cover. But when we made a claim, they said there has been no notation by the delivery team and moreover we have to incur a min of $500 before we can get reimbursed.
Update: 2/13/25 -Unfortunately this is a false review of a person that has never used our services. This is not representative of our processes, or an experience with Make A Move. We take all feedback very seriously, and try our best to rectify any situation or concerns.
Yikes! What a rip off. I received a call at noon that they were at the furniture store to pick up my 1 piece of furniture. I received another call at 1:40 that they were on the way. An hour and a half to get 1 piece of furniture? I then immediately called the furniture store and the lady said they got multiple pieces and the drivers had left a while ago so they must have made an additional stop. She said they wouldn't charge me for any stops.

My expierence with the delivery person was fine However, my charge for delivery was a little high. I got charged for the time it took to get from their last client to where they picked up my furniture. I was a little shocked to get charged from there last client to me. It was not explained to me how the charges work so beware and ask lots of questions
For simple deliveries, we only charge our customers for the time we pay our guys; from the time they leave our warehouse, to the store selling the item, to the customer's house, and an estimated time for the team to get back to the warehouse.

I hired this company to do a local move. The team showed up on time and listened to what I wanted them to do for me. They very quickly, efficiently, and carefully wrapped up and loaded all my furniture into the truck and delivered them to my new address. They were thoughtful about how to safely transport my belongings as well as where to place them in the new location. If there was an issue with anything, they were quick to come ask me rather than risk doing something wrong. They were fast, too!
