In their own words
Manny's was subcontracted to move a gun safe to my new house. If I could give them a negative 100 I would. From the moment they showed up they were the biggest jerks and went out of their way to be rude. When I returned to my house where they removed this safe I found that they broke the vinyl part of my step. Even the other moving company commented how awful they were. Use anybody but them!
Hi Brian. We sincerely apologize you had such a negative experience with a recent safe move, however we have no idea which move you're referring to. We haven't received any calls or emails regarding a move that went so horribly.
We contracted with Manny's in July of 2014 for a piano move. Details were confirmed in advance and we were given a 5 hour window (7 am-12pm) during which both the pickup and delivery would occur. As the end of the window approached and the piano had yet to be picked up from the seller, we were very disappointed to be told they were running late and wouldn't arrive until 2pm. Ultimately the piano was not delivered to our home until nearly 5pm.
Really unpleasant experience. Movers called with only five minutes notice, entered home without knocking, barely said anything. I asked them to give me a few minutes to put the cats up (I had put them up before they arrived but they got out somehow). They didn’t wait and I walked back less than a minute later to find the door to the house propped open. I spent the next 30 minutes after they left looking for my cat outside because they couldn’t wait for 3 minutes while I put him in my room.
Dear Bo, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for the distress and inconvenience you encountered during your move. It's clear that our team did not meet the standards of professionalism and courtesy that we strive to uphold.
When you call a piano mover you expect your piano to be moved to where you would like it. Spent $800 to have it move 60 miles to be told they could not bring it up a flight of stairs. I don’t accept this. Be prepared to do a job. I ended up hiring a different company to finish the job. I would not recommend Manny’s to anyone. If they cared I would of received a call. Not professional. Go with RDS they can get the job done!!!! Said they gave a discount I paid full price. May want to question your driver?????
Hello Jason, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Our guys did tell you they would be able to move the piano upstairs, but they could not guarantee the pine steps would not be damaged. You did not want them to move the piano without that guarantee.
The driver was very impatient!!! The truck arrived at our house at 9:15 a.m. when we had a 10 a.m. appointment. The driver was very crabby. Also, my piano had some scratch marks on it that weren’t there when they picked it up at my house. I believe that I should be compensated for the mover(s) not being more careful when moving my piano and causing it to arrive at my new house in a worse condition than before they picked it up. (The guy who wasn’t driving was okay to work with.)
Dear Rebecca, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, although we must say this review came as a bit of a surprise as it has been nearly a full month since your move was completed July 15th.
CUSTOMER BEWARE We had a very bad experience and tried to call Manny many times and his staff would not allow me to talk to him and he would not call me back. His crew was very condescending and not professional. They ran our organ over our marble and Brazilian Cherry floors with only a furniture cover on the floor. They did not listen to my wife and had the organ uncovered in the rain. They only had to move this 5 miles from one home to another. Awful experience!!!
Hello Mr. O'Connor We empathize with your frustration on not being able to speak with Manny sooner. We have missed seeing him in the office as well! Like our office staff relayed many times, Manny was out of the office and unable to be reached due to a number of personal obligations.
During the process of moving the piano into my house they knocked over table in my garage and some glasses that had water in them and broke my $150 e cigarette and let my cat get outside. They didn’t inform me of this until right before they left. Upon calling Mannys they were unapologetic and uncooperative. Really a very poor business I would never recommend them to anyone.
Did not use the service because I was given an estimate of $400 to move an upright piano from one home to another less than a mile away, with a total of two flights of stairs. This price seemed very unreasonable to me. I used another piano moving company, who charged me $275 and had it moved in a total of 15 minutes with no issues.

In their own words
Inherited my Grandma’s upright piano and needed help moving it safely. Mannys showed up on time, had great communication, were friendly and professional and had great tips for how to keep our floors from getting damaged and tuning services. They were careful and efficient in moving the piano. Although their price was a bit higher than other local movers, I was grateful to have professionals to move a treasured heirloom.
Hi Kristen, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! We're delighted to hear that our team was able to assist you in moving your Grandma’s upright piano safely. It's wonderful to know that our punctuality, communication, and professionalism met your expectations.
Manny’s crew did an excellent job moving a 5’ baby grand 40 miles for us. Quick scheduling, fair pricing, and perfect delivery. They got it dismantled and packed up gently & quickly. Thankfully they also supplied the proper pads for the wheels to sit on in order to protect the flooring in it’s new location. They shared helpful info for maintenance and care of the piano and had additional resources for tuning & repair which will come in handy. Highly recommend!
Hi Karl, Thank you so much for your glowing review! We're thrilled to hear that our crew provided excellent service in moving your baby grand piano. It's great to know that the scheduling, pricing, and delivery met your expectations.
The two movers picked up the baby grand piano we had early from the original site, but contacted me right away that they could come earlier. I gave the a time and they agreed to this. When they were delayed for another move that came up, they immediately contacted me to set up a new time, which worked fine for me. When they arrived, they saw I was moving another piano out of the way, and they immediately offered to help move that one, even though it was not part of the move I'd contracted.
Hi David, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that our team was able to accommodate your schedule changes and provide the assistance you needed, even beyond the original scope of the move.
Very professional crew. I felt that my heavy, old piano was well cared for throughout my various moves, but also the year in your storage. I will use you again when I need it moved into a new home. My only criticism (and it is not reflected in my basic assessment of your service) is that you update your billing practices. I was not aware that I was in arrears with my payments to you because you do not send bills that are an accurate accounting of what we owe you.
Dear Kristin, Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're delighted to hear that our crew took good care of your piano during your moves and while it was in storage.
