Marco Polo Pro Moving

I used their services to move a 1 bedroom apt literally across the street. They took 6.5 hrs, charged $840 and ripped my new couch on both sides. I reached out and never heard back from them until I left a review on yelp. The owner Boris said they are not responsible for the damage and was more focused on me taking the negative review down. Horrible customer service. Just received the response below and I moved 7 mths ago. Again... extremely unprofessional!!!

My realtor recommended I use this company and after checking the reviews, I decided to go ahead and use them. I had to move my belongings from a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment only 2.5 miles away to my new house. I also requested them to pack and buy the supplies (which I reimbursed). So on moving day, Boris shows up with one additional person and adding another person several hours later. Needless to say, they started from 0800 am and finished packing/loading at 5pm.

I usually do not rate companies, but I rely on google reviews to make good decisions when choosing businesses to work with. It’s apparent that not all of the preceding 54 reviews are honest. I did not have a good experience with Marco Polo. There was no caring about my belongings, they left the moving site messy inside and outside, left furniture and other items behind (after I asked explicitly for these items to be removed), wrapped furniture in what looked like shrink wrap for furniture but it was the protective…

It is unfortunate that it has come to this. I signed a moving contract for moving services over the summer. During the move, one of the movers, Jorge, asked about a bookcase. I was very clear in my instructions that it was to be left in the apartment, as I was not bringing it to the new location. The move was completed, and within a day or two I returned to the old location to begin cleaning and preparing the apartment for move-out. At that time, I noticed that the bookcase was not there as instructed.

I utilized their services to move from Virginia to Nashville, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the outcome. They severely damaged my metal bookshelves by neglecting to wrap them properly, resulting in significant gouges. The only way to fix this is to buff the shelves and re-powder coat the entire piece. I contacted them within the first 24 hours after delivery, yet they ignored all my emails, text messages, and calls for a full month.

Used them to move me from Virginia to Nashville. They ruined my metal book shelves by not wrapping it. They gouged the metal so badly the only way to repair it was to get someone to buff it and re power coat the ENTIRE piece. I reached out to them within the first 24 hours of the furniture delivery. They ignored emails, text messages and calls for a month. They pretend to be multiple companies on line and thumbtack. Now they are saying that it wouldn't qualify for an insurance claim and dismissing me again.

Extremely unprofessional - do not utilize this moving company as you get what you pay for. Owner extremely condescending and unwilling to resolve our issue post-move. Our items were damaged/broken including a cracked TV screen in which no resolution was offered. Professional movers who assisted afterwards were shocked how our furniture was wrapped and handled - this is not the company you want to hire if you want your belongings handled with care.

Tried to get a quote. Spoke to them in depth and was promised a quote thw following day. After numerous calls and texts, no response.
