In their own words
I chose Meant to be Movers based on favorable reviews online and a favorable impression we had of the owner, Susan Lepack, when she came to our house to do a survey. I totally regretted this decision. They are incompetent, lackadaisical and unprofessional. The survey called for two trucks and five people but they showed up with one truck and three movers. The truck was a rental and did not have a functioning ramp or lift and could not negotiate our steep driveway.
We had a terrible experience with this company. While the actual loading of the truck as okay (though it took hours longer than we thought), we had several issues with this company. The truck our items were on broke down and we had to wait an additional 5 hours to get our items. Additionally, several of our furniture items we have found chips, nicks and damage . We also have 2 lights that they moved that did not go back together correctly.
Good Morning Kimberly, my name is Sandra. I am the office manager from M2B. I would really like to communicate with you about this issue. If you could would you please email me at [email removed] so we can find a resolution to this matter. Thanks a lot. I look forward to hearing from you.
Based on our recent CT. to FL. relocation experience Steve & Susan Lepack, and the Meant to be Mover (MTBM) team cannot be recommended as a reliable, reputable local agent to initiate a long distance move for national mover, Wheaton World Wide Movers. Late to pack, the only room (kitchen / Dining room) MTBM was responsible to pack was incomplete & missing items at destination, driver coordination with national lacking, transparent coordination with customer severley lacking / inadequate, MTBM owners / management /…
We dealt with a man named Al. He spoke to my sister and estimated a 4 hour move from a local storage area to our condo. He said he would "take care of us" as he is a veteran, and we moved to CT with my 4 severely disabled children after my …
AVOID!!! I hired them to unload a 16 foot truck. It took them 5 and a half hours!! It should only have taken 2 hours. The guys who loaded it only took 2 hours. They would bring in a load about every 15 minutes. Ridiculous! After several …
They did not return emails, didn’t return calls, never picked up the phone, full voicemail, really disappointed. Do not recommend.
What satisfied customers point to

In their own words
Robert and his two guys moved my mother into her apartment this morning and we are more than pleased with the service. They all were professional, efficient and careful. We definitely recommend and would use this company in the future.
I recently used Meant 2Be Movers for a local move of a 2,000 square foot house. Susan and her employees are very personable and responsive. The moving crew was professional, respectful and very helpful. They communicated well throughout the day. Good people. I highly recommend for local moving.
This company is amazing. They will work with you to ensure your moving experience is as easy as possible. Buying and selling a house is stressful enough, Meant2be Movers knows this and does everything they can to help things remain chaos free. Don't even bother talking to another company, whoever they are they cant compete.
I needed to move my business and had a short amount of time to do so. The owner came to my business, was super helpful and I was more than happy to give my business to another small business. The crew was innovative with some tricky items and quick to get the job done well. I would recommend them to anyone!
