If I could give 0 stars, I would. Ever since my experience with them, I've been very strongly recommending NOT hiring them. If you want a smooth moving day with peace of mind that your movers will show up, DO NOT go with Men on the Move! We wanted to go with a local company because we like to support local business, but this one has a long ways to go in terms of professionalism and customer service. First off, the owner of the company refuses to put estimates, moving arrangements in writing.
Horrible experience, Made appointment to have furniture moved. They came way early, it was raining outside. I asked if they had shoe covers, which they replied no. I asked if they will be taking shoes off, they reply no. I told them that with the rain they would get my floors and carpets wet and dirty. To which they rudely replied, we are not moving your furniture and walked off. I spoke manager, Jason, who told me that they don't carry shoe covers. Will never call them again!!!
Men on the Move packed a shipping container for us and severley damaged several pieces of furniture because of how they packed it, including two table tops with large gouges and a dining table leaf that's completely broken and unusable. The day of logistics were fine and the crew was nice and did the job in a reasonable amount of time. I wouldn't recommend using them if you have anything that you care too much about.
I would give them a ZERO if I could. Most expensive and they tossed the furniture around like nothing. Broke an antique table and the owner won't return my call. They left everything in a giant heap and took off. Not only that, lied about when they started, so I paid more time. Didn't disclose all the costs. Worst move I have ever had.
They were almost an hour late with no notification. We were not told by Jeff items that the movers told us they could not move. The estimate was way lower than the actual cost. They could not get all our items in the truck so we have to …
If you are low income this company doesn’t respect you...they just want your money. The movers made fun of me and my modest belongings. I wouldn’t recommend this company at all. Very uncaring people.
I was met with a surprising amout of hostility after visiting the office. I would not recommend working with them based on my brief experience.

I’ve used Men on the Move multiple times now, and I will never use another company again. In the past I’ve done moves with other companies and they’ve been unorganized, ill prepared, and inefficient. Men on the Move is always ready, fast and very careful with your belongings, no matter the crew, as I’ve had several. I’ve had them show up at 9am, load everything, including disassembling things like my bed (s), get to the new home, unload, reassemble it all, and be done by early afternoon. It’s incredible.

We had a wonderful experience with Men on the Move. They were true professionals- careful with our belongings, quick and efficient. We first moved our Ann Arbor home to a storage unit until we purchased a new home. Men on the Move carefully repacked everything that had been in storage for 3 months and drove it 100 miles to Kalamazoo. Everything was in pristine condition. Can’t recommend these movers enough. Jason was extremely helpul and provided excellent communication throughout the process.
