I used this company 2 years ago and I am still upset about the way my husband and I were treated by Marco and his guys. Marco sent 2 guys who were lazy and slow. They took one-hour lunch break and were taking their time to move our properties. They were just running the clock. It took them 14 hours to move 3 bedroom worth of properties. When I called Marco to complain, he was so rude and arrogant. Very unprofessional. I don't know why these guys are still in business. Very unprofessional group of people.
After two years? This is the first time a customer ever leaves a Good or Bad review AFTER TWO (2) YEARS from their service. On the contrary, those who felt compelled to leave a bad review are contacted directly as they use their real name and or the name they used to book their move.
This was the worst moving company I have ever used!!! A 1 bedroom/ 1bathroom loft style apartment took them over 4 hours to complete and charged me $640. They additionally did not move everything as I quote them, they do not move bags or vacuums as they only move furniture and closed boxes. Here is my issue, they did not move my shoe boxes there were several boxes left behind, when I inquired about boxes being left.
OMG! Absolutely DO NOT book with this company! The morning of my mom's move, I contacted them to confirm the time the movers would arrive. I moved her original move date to Saturday 03/19. & when I called MARCO (owner & manager) decided to tell me that my mom was not on the list for them to move after I have a confirmation via email for the move on this day. FURIOUS!!! After him not telling me she wasn't on the list to be moved by him & his movers, I told him he was full of it & hung up.
First off there is a 1 star review by a customer named Dominique Williams BELIEVE EVERY WORD ABOUT THEM TRYING TK STRETCH THE TIME PAST THE TWO HOUR!!!!!.. I’ve used this company twice only because they do send more people than you ask for, seems like a good deal right. The guy in charge will try and stall to stretch the time past two hours. I helped them move my stuff both times..at the end of the second move the head guy tried to stall and talk to me..BUT I WASNT HAVING IT!!
Terrible experience!! When booking the move, it was supposed to be 2 men and a truck. They show up with 3. I stated which was in my opinion it shouldn't take longer than 2 hours. ( 10 boxes 2 TV bed Dresser, night stand, rug, bar table 4 chairs).. going 6.5 miles from here to the new place. Moving from 1st floor to and elvator at the new place. They guy in charge tells me not to state my opinion if I don't have to money for more than 2 hours just say that.
Dominique, Thanks for your feedback however HERE IS WHAT REALLY HAPPENED: (1) About your opinion: We say it was more like demanding 2 hours or else, it did not sounded like an opinion more like an ORDER.
This was my second call to this company in 2 years. I was told the move would be scheduled between 8am and 11am. I arrived at the location by 730 and prepared the items for pick up. By 830 I still had not heard from the movers. So I called in. I was told that they could “arrive anytime between 8am and 11am” to which I laughed because this was not communicated to me. However, I live a mile away my offices are a mile away so I was honestly going to just go down the street and wait.
Bad attitude from the young guy telling me I was micro managing because I was looking at my furniture as they moved it I have several glass pieces that I wanted protected but was being made to look like I had a attitude because I asked questions about them wrapping my things he also missed the exit didn’t want to listen to any suggestions I had as a woman but did everything my son asked started telling me he’s brown like me however there where three people there that heard and saw he wanted to be the boss and me…
1. Movers asked for you to used your own blankets because you were moving in to storage and we would not be able to leave ours. 2. Every time they moved a piece of furniture, you were making comments as to why are you moving this and not moving that?
I am really disappointed with this company. I used them before and had a great experience. However this time was horrible!!!!! First off I told them everything I had for them to move (including exercise equipment) they sent the smallest truck!!!! Also they damaged some of my furniture which they did not wrap properly!!! The wood floors in my new place was also damaged with tons of scratches!!! (Which I will be charged for). I have tried to be patient for them to give me a call but nothing!!!

This was hands down the most professional experience I’ve ever had with a moving company. The team was punctual, efficient, and incredibly careful with all my belongings. They completed the move in less time than expected, which was such a pleasant surprise. On top of that, they even went above and beyond by helping me assemble a few new chairs — something they didn’t have to do, but I deeply appreciated it. I had an absolutely outstanding experience with Movers Dallas today. From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and incredibly respectful of both my time and my belongings. Moving can be stressful, but this team made the entire process feel smooth and worry-free. They arrived on time, worked with great coordination, and handled everything with care—nothing was rushed, yet everything was done quickly and efficiently. What really stood out to me was their attitude.
Let me 1st say I randomly found this place after someone recommended I search Craigslist. I was skeptical to say the least as you don't always find the must reputable people on Craigslist. But boy did they prove me wrong! I used Metro Moving Company 2 days ago and was quite impressed. Rodrigo and Jesse showed up when they said they would and got right to work. Rodrigo thoroughly explained everything and told me what and why I was signing the paperwork provided.
