ZERO STARS. I have had a horribly unprofessional and overall shady experience using Midwest moving company. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHARGED ASTRONOMICALLY MORE THAN AGREED APON. I was originally quoted a price to which I agreed after spending a great deal of time combing through and entering my personal inventory and living arrangements, I agreed to a number of movers (two movers) and a time frame that was estimated to me based off my information and number of boxes and furniture (2 hours).
I would not recommend this moving company. The movers were extremely careless with our belongings from start to finish. They did not wrap or cover any of our furniture, which resulted in significant damage to multiple pieces. We ended up with deep scratches, large dings, and gouges on most of our furniture items. The glass on our china cabinet was shattered during the move, and they even dented a brand-new wall while moving items into the house. What was most frustrating was the lack of care and attention.
Overcharged, told me the time would be stopped at a specific time and I would only be charged until then but that was a lie. I was charged for an hour of service I did not receive. They do not tell you that you pay for them to take an hour to drive back to their shop when it should only take 25 minutes
Massively under quoted. Ended up being $400 more than the estimate. They charge a $115 truck fee, a fuel surcharge and also bill for travel time at $170/hr. …

The movers were friendly, caring and efficient. They made sure to ask before disassembling anything or if anything may be wrong. The only issue was they let the truck lift down too far on our driveway which damaged the asphalt.
