Mike The Mover LLC

This guy Mike the mover does not even deserve one star, it’s actually zero stars. I was trying to take some stress of my sister and help her look for a mover , it was narrowed down to two. She chose this unprofessional , uncaring individual he had scheduled to move my sister 4/30/25 yesterday. She sends photos at his request to what would be moved. He tells her I will be there between 10-11 am . She has spent days packing her stuff. He texted her to say sorry I wouldn’t be there to 3, with no explanation.

I used Mike the Movers, LLC from the reviews I read; however, my move end-up being a disastrous. The move took all day to a house, and the guys took a lunch break for a hour. The truck was really small, but somehow they got the majority of all my furniture and belongings into it. After unloading, Mike and his friends/relatives, placed many heavy boxes in the wrong rooms for me to move. The sad part was the boxes were marked and labelled.

I would rate him 0/5 stars if possible. I hired Mike for a cross-town move >1 mo in advance. We agreed on a date and time. I have a 1 br apt and am a bit of a minimalist. He assured me it would be a smooth move. I paid a deposit. On the day of the move I texted him to confirm the moving time at 1:30 PM. He responded at 12:03 PM and said "After 4 PM sorry long week." I called him and he made an excuse about his guy not being available untiil 4 PM and needing to pick up the truck.

I moved from Owings Mills, MD to Hanover, PA. Mike The Mover LLC were on time. My belongings were put on the truck and taken off the truck in a reasonable time frame. However, I’ve never had movers take a hour lunch break during a move. I wasn’t able to pick my granddaughter from her daycare because of this lunch break. Luckily I was able to make other arrangements which cost me more money. And a lot of my boxes were crushed and open when I got to the new location. My daughter’s box spring was broken.

Was referred by a former customer who arranged a date but did not get time and payment. When I called to confirm time and payment was very rude and unprofessional he had never spoken to me before this. I had even given him referrals and had to call and tell them please don't call.

This company does shady business. Do not let them move your furniture. I paid this company $1000.00 flat rate and they destroyed my quality furniture. The man came to my home quoted me and the day of my move kept nickel and dimeing me for more money

I don't know where all these fake reviews are coming from, but don't believe it. They charge outrageous prices, God forbid you're a woman getting their services they want to take pricing advantage, and be rude. No good customer service.
