My senior parents moved out of state. The movers were actually great people and did everything they could above and beyond. Truck broke down in the driveway for 2 hours after we were almost done. That was nice for all of us that the company had us wait instead of immediately having a person available to resolve. 1300$ in damaged, expensive furniture and odds and ends that probably were the result of seniors packing themselves. Company paid $650 and stopped responding to the customer.
Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback — we genuinely mean that. We’re really glad to hear the crew went above and beyond for your parents, and we’re truly sorry about the truck breakdown and the experience that followed.
I am so disappointed and upset about my move with reliant. My roomate and I double, triple checked with them that everything would fit. They told us 30 boxes a couch, 2 beds, tv and rugs would fit no problem with room left over. After 10 boxes, one bed and the TV, they are now doubling our quote. This is thousands more than I anticipated and they only told me after it was loaded so what was I supposed to do???

I cannot say enough good things about Ryan and Modern Moving Solutions. From the first phone call to the final box being placed exactly where I wanted it, everything was seamless. They were professional, on time, efficient, and treated my belongings with real care — not rushed, not careless, not distracted. Moving is stressful, but Ryan and his team made it feel organized and manageable. They worked hard the entire time, communicated clearly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right.

Great job. All the movers were extremely polite and communicative. They walked through in the beginning to set expectations, to understand anything that might be more challenging and walked through the new house when complete to make sure everything was where it should be and that we were satisfied. We moved from an older home w a winding narrow staircase and they got all the furniture out (not easy). Everything made it, well wrapped and transported - no damage. And ..

If you're looking to get something moved this is the one to call. The guys came in looked over large dining room I had 3 leaf table with 10 chairs, large heavy China cabinets with glass shelves several other tall cabinets with large glass shelves and doors. They were polite very professional and quick and efficient all at a fair price. I plan on having them move more items for me soon. Thank you, Sincerely
Where to begin?? We purchased a home in late March 2024 with closing on the new home in early June. Not only did we have to quickly list and sell our much-loved-home where we raised our family for the past 32 years, we needed to find a local moving company to whom we could entrust the safe transport (five miles from one home to the other) of what-to-us are “sentimental priceless” belongings acquired over the years.
