DONT BOOK THEM!! They were supposed to come tomo morning at 8 am for moving my stuff and today the owner calls me at 3:30 pm and very rudely and unprofessionally TELLS ME to go with some one else, all because I inquired about them having added coverage for electronics for my TV and because I inquired, "what if some furniture breaks or is scratched during moving, do your insurance cover that?" This was the question when the owner lost his head and super UNprofessionally told me multiple times to Listen to him…

Came with too small of a truck. So they couldn't fit the 2bedrooms of stuff I told them I had. So instead of 1 trip with a fully loaded truck, they took two partial loads over two trips and my bill more than doubled from a quote of around $400 to over $900. Had they showed up with an appropriately sized moving truck it would have been 5 stars and I'd of paid way less
Zach, we regret hearing that you were not satisfied with our services. Our truck sizing is based on the information we receive whenever you call and schedule a move. We were aware that you had furniture in 2 bedrooms of a townhome that you wanted to move.
We scheduled a move for arrival between 8-9am. We are moving from Downtown Dallas and the movers knew this. The building that we are moving out of does not have a loading dock so I'm guessing this is where his frustration began however, that is not our fault. If he had been here early, there may have been a spot in the front. He then looks at the space and automatically says its going to take 2-3 trips at $200/hr + travel fee. We are moving to a 10X25 storage.... Why would everything not be able to take one trip?

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They were scheduled to arrive between 8-9. At 830 I got a call that I was being rescheduled for the next day because it was sprinkling and they don't work in the rain. There is rain in the forecast for the next couple of days. I asked what happens if it's raining tomorrow. The answer: I get rescheduled. So I'm sitting here with a packed up house and no movers for today and potentially no movers for the next couple of days.
Hi Glen, we’re sorry to hear about your frustration back in 2018. At Monarca Movers Dallas, the safety of both your belongings and our crew has always been a top priority, which is why we pause service during unsafe weather.
Wish I could do zero stars. They claimed their truck was stranded and called 15 minutes before our appointment. When asked for any possible solutions, as far as me renting a uhaul for them....they were unwilling to meet to a compromise. Extremely unprofessional considering they knew items for the whole house had been packed. And thought waiving a service fee and earliest tuesday move was all they had to offer.

I would not recommend. Two guys showed up and were taken their time with my items. They took a load down and was away for almost 30 minutes.. when I asked what was taken so long one of the guys got offended and said “I’m out of here” I said excuse me? Poor service over the call - person who answered the phone had an attitude from the start, was not very helpful at all, and when I told her its a good idea to put someone on hold while yelling and talking to co-workers in the back, she said "Better you find other movers" and put down the phone - beware - if the person answering the phone has an attitude like this - you can only imagine what the crew will be like...

After All My Sons Moving lied to my girlfriend and I about their prices, we were left without a mover the night before our scheduled move and still on a budget. Monarca came to our rescue, and were exceptional. Scheduling the last-minute move was a breeze over the phone, and they showed up bright and early the next morning on time and ready to go. The leader of our 3 man crew was friendly and pleasant, his team careful and quick.

I had to move twice in two months this year, and I used Monarca both times. They are amazing for several reasons. I was able to call and schedule movers with less than a few days notice the first time, and able to reschedule my second move date very easily. They were upfront with costs, fees, etc. and provided excellent customer service over the phone. Then in person, my movers were fantastic.
