This guy is shady he will over charge you for your truck rental and will not respond to your call very unprofessional and takes advantage of everyone
My in laws hired this company to move them out of my house. They showed up as I was going to work (my father in law stayed to supervise), and when I got home from work I noticed one of my lamps was missing. No one seemed to know where it went after lots of talk and getting the run around Monte tells my father in law one of his guys stole it. There was no apology or compensation for my lamp given to me. Just an "oh yeah so this is what happened"....
Absolutely terrible experience. If I could give negative stars, I would. The owner initially provided a low estimate just to secure the job, then attempted to increase the price by more than 50% on the actual moving day. It felt completely dishonest and misleading. To make matters worse, one of the drivers appeared hungover, was visibly sick, and was throwing up throughout the move. It was incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable behavior for any business, especially one handling customers’ belongings.
Just witnessed the driver of this business cross five lanes of traffic in one move on the Waterson Expressway. He had absolutely no regard for the other drivers on the road nor the load in the vehicle. I wouldn’t trust concrete blocks with this company.
Very rude. When called man said "It's incorporated!" when asked company name. Then proceeded to accuse me of calling and hanging up on him when I only called 1 time and his mailbox was full. Very rude and nasty.
If I could give it less than one star i would. The guy who runs the place completely lied to me about my money right to my face and cheated me. It’s horrible this place has anything to do with uhaul.

In their own words
We have used Monte a few times for small moves. We just used them for a large move that included removal of older furniture and move into and out of a storage unit and a baby grand piano. They were on time, fast, courteous, careful and accommodating. Our first call for all of our moves.
I’ve used Monte’s Movers twice in 2018 and 2021, both for moving items from assisted living facility to two different locations. Quite efficient, arrived on time and fair pricing. Very reliable resource with moving.
I recently had to move my father from one memory care facility to another. I needed a FAST move because we had to be somewhat covert in order to minimize the impact to my fathers mental stability. The team arrived exactly when we agreed (8am) and started moving everything!!! I thought I was going to need to pack up his clothing and incidentals but they just took over. By 9:30am they were completely finished and had set up his new rooms perfectly.
I can not express enough how impressed I am with the service I received for a "last minute" move out I had recently. The 3 men that showed up couldn't have been any more professional in my opinion. They didn't take a break or a lunch, and I was moved out and in; in record time. The price quoted was what they charged, no hidden fees or surprise miscellaneous charges were added. I highly recommend Monte LeGrand, Thank You for a job well done!
