Motivated Movers Chattanooga

Save your money and use a different company. I had high hopes based on the reviews and meeting Daniel, the local Chattanooga manager, that this would be a smooth move. But his team got called to a different job and a Georgia team came work my job. They showed up 3 hours late and then the problems started from there. They blew past the estimated time to complete by four hours and we had to pay almost double the estimated cost.

Here’s a fact-based review of Motivated Movers. My parents recently moved out of state from Chattanooga, TN and selected Motivated Movers of Chattanooga based on recommendations from a real estate agent and an attorney they knew. The Motivated Movers person who gave them the quote, the packers, and the movers were all friendly people, and the price was fair.

We booked Motivated Movers for our recent move as they were highly recommended. We only moved seven miles down the road and attempted to make their jobs as easy as possible. We only asked that they move our big furniture and when they arrived we had everything we were having them move in one room and already taken apart for them. When they arrived, they were not dressed presentable and just overall did not look professional at all. One of them smelled like he hadn’t showered in several days.

I do NOT recommend this company whatsoever! My daughter hired them to move her & the grands out of a 3 bedroom home. They brought the biggest truck they had which was 26ft. And they couldn't fit everything into it! They advertised that the 26ft truck could move up to a 5 bedroom home. This was only a 3 bedroom & they couldn't fit it all into it! They were only able to get half of her things! And they didn't go back for the rest of it. So we had to get a U-haul to get the rest!

Well ramp was broke so an hour job turned into two, I was one of the movers and worked way harder than the boys. I have a foe fire place that got broke, and I know for a fact when I set it on the lift it wasn’t broke. $236. Turned into $380. Item on lift gate go up, put it on truck, come down, that milked the clock, I literally had everything on my porch waiting on them, helped load it, and it still took two hours, unexceptionable. Washer dryer, 5 piece entertainment stand, bed and a frame, dresser and a tv.

First of all, the movers showed up without masks which apparently has to be requested beforehand. We're in the middle of a pandemic and I expected them to follow basic covid-19 safety measures. My mistake. We used them for the first half of our cross-country move. When our stuff arrived here, almost all of our furniture pieces were severely scratched and damaged. The movers we hired here (which were very professional and significantly cheaper) couldn't believe how poorly the truck was loaded.

My father passed and we hired them to move his items for us. They did not tie down a mechanic's toolbox and busted the top. It has been 14 months and I have called probably a dozen times about the insurance claim. Daniel their manager promises to call the company fixing the tool box but hasn't to date. I called again today to speak with the regional manager and we will see of he/she calls back, if thet dont we will have to sue. I'm very disappointing that we picked this company.

Well, started off okay Josh and Quen was the movers. But then Someone slowed the clock down quite a bit. We was moving out of a storage unit and into a mobile home. We was quoted a price for 3 people and only two showed up. It tool them four and a half hours to load their truck from a 20x10 storage unit. And then another four and a half hours to unload, but before they was going to unload, management had to get involved because of the way it was going and everything was resolved. I still do not recommend them
