Move and Go, LLC

I hired this company to assist with a 2 hour move back in May. Before my move they switched the scheduled times around and told me they would be picking up someone else's move. They picked up my stuff around 8 am that morning and did not arrive to my new place until after 8 pm that night. When they finally did show up, they told me that they had broken some things but not to worry it would be solved quickly with their claims department.

The moving process went good , but when I spoke on the phone with the lady in charge of the process , she assured they will charge me only for the exact travel time , yet they charged me the whole 1 hour travel time $179.00, although the travel time was only around 15 mnt ..I've tried to call her back but no answer ! So be aware of the calculation scam

My 1st move was excellent. The guys were in and out in no time. They were gentle with our furniture and just did a phenomenal job. However the 2nd time, when the boss was not present, it was horrible. My glass desktop mysteriously disappeared and no one seem to know what happened when I witnessed it being packed and put in storage myself. The people at the storage unit said they did notice broken glass but thought nothing of it.

When I was initially ready to post this honest review, they urged me to reconsider because they’re a small family business and they wanted to make things right. Well, they didn’t. So here goes: We had an awful, awful move. I choose them only because their first team did a fabulous job delivering and unloading 3 Zippy Shell pods for us a year ago. But this time? A totally different experience. They had the records of our last move yet they sent too small a truck and didn’t arrive on time.

Do not recommend! They clearly are deleting bad reviews! I’m only giving one star because of the movers if not for them this would be no stars!! The rest of the company is terrible. As expected, there were scratches, marks and dents to my wall with moving. I bought extra protection insurance for this reason and it was a scam. The lady told me it was beneficial but she lied about coverage and that the company hired a contractor to fix damage to walls by movers. I placed a claim so I thought.

My move was horrible to say the least. Not only did they bring some random man from CRAIGSLIST that doesn’t work for them to my house without telling me the move took several hours and I was left with a damaged television. I filed a claim and did not hear back until I called them several times for weeks. One of the movers left half way through the move but still showed up to the next destination to say he was not going to be helping.

INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS. BEWARE !!!!! Scheduled and confirmed a move with this company three weeks before my move date. A day before my scheduled move date Move and Go called and asked if I could switch my morning time move to the afternoon which I agreed upon with no issue. I was informed that the move time would be between 1 -3 pm and someone would reach out when they were on the way.

WORST MOVING COMPANY. This company came highly recommended, however, unless you have multiple people to watch each mover like a hawk, I don’t recommend. My move was scheduled a month in advance for 8:30am. Two days before my move, they changed my time from 8:30am to 12:30pm (RED FLAG #1). I was not happy about it, but knew I would have a difficult time finding another mover in 2 days. To make it worse, the movers didn't arrive until 1:45pm. They sent 3 movers in a Budget Co. rental truck (RED FLAG #2).
