Funny how most of these reviews are good reviews, my experience was terrible with Bekins. They lost things, broke things, I took a major loss using this company from Washington state to Florida. Doug Drainville , the man in charge was basically clueless about where our lost items went. Lost in transit. We were told our items would be stored in a vault in the warehouse while we waited for a driver, my things were not vaulted, I was lied to, my things sat on the warehouse floor in the open for all who worked there…
We are sorry that your experience was hard for you. I have said this very statement directly to you, the customer, multiple times that we were sorry that your experience was so poor.
We never received our love seat back that matches our couch, chair, and two ottomans. This was not cheap furniture! We called Bekins in Lakewood, WA to report the loss a few times (including a call to "H" who set up our move), and we were told they'd look for our love seat in their warehouse and get back to us. Never heard back from anyone at Bekins, and it's been over 2 months now. How do you LOSE a love seat??? We moved from Tacoma to Puyallup, WA...not far at all.

Their affiliation with a larger entity doesn't translate into better service; in fact, it's quite the opposite. What sets them apart, and not in a good way, is their tiny fleet of vehicles. This results in a local agency that struggles to meet the demands of moving. They often rely on third parties to handle critical aspects of the move, leading to a lack of control and accountability.

The whole experience itself was amazing, from the call center to the movers! I purchased a Groupon for this move, and I had no regrets. Wyatt and Carson at the call center was amazing, they worked with me on my last minute move dates, even though the changes were the day prior. Communication was great, all needed documents were signed online and I was always able to get a hold of Wyatt when I needed to make changes.

This company was amazing. They quoted me a fair price and beat it. The movers were fast and respectful of all our belongings. Highly recommend this company and will use them in the future.

After living in the same house for the past 20 years, I need to make an unexpected move ... within the month. Not only that, but I have a disability that limits my mobility (among other things), so you know I was at my "wit's end." The last time I moved I used Bekins and had a wonderful experience. So, quite naturally the first thing I did was called Bekins again.

We had the most amazing experience. A packing crew that had clearly been working alongside one another for quite some time. I requested tricky packing dates, they obliged. Our loaders were BAR NONE! 3 guys that had been working together for a LONG time (it was obvious). 15 years a spouse in the military and this was the best move yet! Dave, the driver, truly went above and beyond. He was personal, professional and so appreciative.
