Horrible experience. Driver refused to park on my street despite adequate space. The delivery driver was rude, unprofessional and failed to complete the contract. He assembled NONE of my furniture even though I paid for this service. He dumped my belongings on a corner, called the police when he was asked to complete the job, refused to take $50 bills bc he had “never seen them before,” damaged my property and left trash in the street.

A huge disappointment!! They reel you in with a competitive quote and after the truck is loaded they nail you with the actual price. My original quote was $3400, final cost was $5800. They are very good at this scam. Smooth talkers!!! I am an honest person and am very discouraged that I have been taken advatage of. They are right there to answer any questions right up until the truck is loaded and your stuck. I called them for days with no call back from them until I filed a complaint with BBB

They seem to only be a decent company if you do in-state moving. That or they delete all of their negative reviews. When do you think you’ll deliver my mother’s belongings to her that you have had since mid-December? When do you think someone will stop dodging her calls and give her a date on when she’ll be able to have her bed returned to her? How about a date on when she’ll be able to have the only photos in existence of her dead mother returned to her?

Moving crew very quickly decided that I needed more space. They charged me $500 for more space and $200 for moving std size chest calling it too “heavy”. I have pictures of my stuff in truck within contracted space. They ripped me off when they knew I had little choice but to accept their false up charges. Do not use this firm!!

In their own words
I hired USA Moving & Storage to move my household. The team of four individuals showed up on time in the morning and after showing what items were moving, they immediately began wrapping and moving items. All four individuals were courteous, polite and professional. They were careful with furniture and walls, which I greatly appreciated. I was amazed how quickly they worked and loaded all belongings into the truck. The moving into a new home went just as quick and without any damage.
My go to recommendation for family, friends & clients moving. Always quick, ,professional, fair and very efficient. This time one new homebuyer had a delay in buying her new house & they could accommodate her for storage at a very reasonable rate. Family owned! Highly recommend!
We are so glad to hear of your satisfactory experience! Thank you for leaving a positive review!
I called USA because they were one of the only companies I could find that could do what I needed - take my stuff and put it in storage for an undetermined amount of time. I have been in the middle of a national job search so I had no idea when or where I’d need to move. I still don’t know. USA has been - by FAR - the most incredible moving company with which I’ve ever worked. And to be clear, I would estimate that I’ve moved at least 10 times in the last 30 years.
Update: I hired USA for another move 3 years later and I would still recommend them. Amazing job again! Thanks! 100% I would recommend USA Moving & Storage to a friend, as was done to me. Ilanit and Ulysses were extremely helpful prior to moving day with quoting, information about potential charges, confirming the reservation, and getting the city parking permits out front. I was given an arrival window of 8-8:30 and the 4-man crew showed up around 7:50!
Thank you for your glowing recommendation and for choosing USA Moving & Storage for your move! We're thrilled to hear that Ilanit and Ulysses provided you with exceptional assistance leading up to moving day and that our team exceeded your expectations.
