First , final price was a lot higher than quote. Owner had to be reminded of the referral discount and deposit that was already paid. Owner was very rude when I asked for clarification of the charges. Movers were amateurs at best. They took 9 hrs for a 6 hr job. They did not put together my sectional in which i paid for all larger items to be reassembled at the new destination. Tried to run out without proper bed assembly. Broke a lamp and put it in the corner so I would not noticed.

Hello, I am extremely disappointed with the service I received during my move. Your crew arrived late, worked very slowly, and behaved unprofessionally while charging a very high hourly rate. My fireplace was completely broken during the move. It was in good condition before your team handled it and is now damaged beyond use. This is unacceptable. I would never use your company again based on this experience. I expect a prompt response. Selina

I chose this company primarily because it is Black owned, so I looked pass the cost being higher than others. I was mostly disappointed that items went missing. After after sending an email to express my discontent with missing items m, I never received a response. Hopefully you can better better your employees but I would not recommend the services of this company for your reason.

Attitude Trash, after he did his walk through my home he told me it would be a xtra $1,100 to move everything in my home. My home was packed rapped and ready for him and his 2 movers to pack the truck. It was his 2 movers that did the moving while he stood and looked inside the truck. I paid just to have the heavy items moved. Once the truck was packed he told me he was going to make a stop to pick up another worker WITH MY $?!£ in the truck 😡😒. Weird but ohk.

Scheduled 3 hours for a move about .5 mile in distance. I was told the night before that we would need to reschedule due to a personal emergency on their end. I was frustrated but agreed. Next day i received a text 15 mins before their scheduled time from Uhaul letting me know they had rescheduled again. Apparently they had called that morning and for some reason it never come through on my end and said this was the reason for the reschedule.

This company is some BS. Not only did they change the rate in the middle of the move, but the movers were constantly standing around on their phones slowing the entire process down. I have multiple videos of the same mover stopping work to talk on his phone while I was being charged for their time. To make matters worse, they broke my dresser and offered me only $75 in compensation. My dresser costs way more than that and $75 isn’t going to replace it.

I would not recommend Movin-N-Groovin Moving Company for personal or contractor businesses/realtors. This company was over 2hrs late for my scheduled move, damaged and broke brand new items, came unprepared to move furniture, and the management was egregiously unprofessional and disrespectful even after being understanding and hospitable. If I could give this company less than one star I would.

My family previously used this company many years ago with no issues. Based on that experience, I decided to use their services. Unfortunately, I deeply regret that decision. I scheduled a moving appointment and was provided with three date and time options. I selected Friday at 10:00 AM. When I called at 12:30 PM because no movers had arrived and I had not received any communication, I was informed that the company operates within a two-hour arrival window.
