Awful across the board! They showed up at 10pm to pack our things. They left the door open and one of our cats got out, never to be found. They did not finish until 2 am, then I had to download Venmo because they wouldn’t take a card, though the instructions clearly stated they would. I was not given a packing list, though I asked for a copy. They took almost two weeks to get our stuff to us. I called and emailed several times and no one would respond.
I just want to warn anyone who uses this company, there are horrible. They were contracted out by Moving APT who we called to move my daughter from California to PA, Moving APT gave us a price after we listed all our items, they price by cubic feet, so then the movers came and while they will loading up my daughters stuff they said oh the king size bed is a California king, which it isn't, the couches were too bulky, they are normal size couches, the coffee table is to big once again a normal size table, charged…
Moving APT is absolute trash. DO NO USE THIS SERVICE. They are a third party that subcontracts out smaller disorganized moving companies. They took credit authorizations that they never used, held charges until months later, and at the last minute on a Saturday at 6:30 PM told us we had to pay the missing charge last minute today for our stuff to be delivered on time and the only two options for payment were Zelle or Wire Transfer, could not use credit cards.
Moving is very stressful and if you value your sanity, don’t use MovingAPT. They will be so accommodating until you give them money. After that, you are at their mercy. I moved from NYC to Louisiana. A week after my property was picked up, they tried adding more money to to the estimate, about one third of the estimate more. After a confrontation, they agreed to honor the contract. They made numerous promises of when I would receive my property and the third time I actually did receive my delivery.
Saying that I am upset with the service provided by Moving APT and Movers Van lines is me being polite. I could say worse and I want to say more. PLEASE, DON'T USE THEM. RUN. SPECIALLY IF THEY ARE USING MOVER VAN LINES (company from Georgia)! There were not only problems with the collection of things, charging things that should not be and showing that the Moving APT workers had hidden information from me and provided me with wrong information.
If I could give this company zero stars I would. My movers showed up after my three day window, they had no idea that I paid for them to pack my things, didn’t have supplies to do it properly, lost many items, and broke even more. I have had over 25 conversations with this company at this point and no one has done anything about it. They scam you on insurance and never call you back. As long as they get you to sign a contract they could care less what happens to your stuff or your experience.
Never used this company but am now receiving calls every hour. I've blocked the calls but they leave a message. When I called to ask why I was being called, was told it was AI and they would take me off the list. That was yesterday. Got more calls today and was told once again that I would be removed from the list. If they can't manage to stop calls to someone that isn't interested in their business, I wouldn't trust them to take care of my belongings.
Complete disaster. They were helpful when setting up the move, but once they had secured the first credit card payment, they were rude and unhelpful. The "Quality Assurance" department is a joke. The moving company booked by Moving APT …

I used this company to move out of my office space. They worked very fast, were extraordinarily organized and were careful with my breakables. I had my things transferred into my storage, and they even reorganized my storage space to make everything fit. Amazing service.
The service has been EXCELLENT. Moving APT guys were prompt, friendly, accommodating, and PROFESSIONALS. They took care of my 1 bedroom apartment belongings, taking things apart and putting them back together, which is beyond amazing in my experience. Moving is a drag, but Moving APT made it seem almost painless. So happy!!!
Moving APT were professional and very fast! They were friendly, efficient, and made our move very smooth! They moved our 2 bedroom apartment in a few hours, which included a stop at Goodwill to donate a few items. Definitely recommend and will be using them again.
