Moving Team Six Moving and Storage

STOP DONT USE THIS COMPANY 😡 They promised to blanket and shrink wrap my 6 pieces of wood furniture. That didn’t happen. I moved 10 doors down in an inside entry apartment. They brought my glass 8 ft cabinet in with nothing wrapped, than here one comes down the hall with my nightstand carrying it with my drawers open so you could see all my things about to drop out. The worst is I have a very old Cherry Wood dresser as they brought it in I said you broke the leg !

Based on the recommendation from a friend, I hired Moving Team Six to help me move the furniture in my home and I would not recommend them to anyone else. I will say that the crew was nice and overall professional. However, as one of the movers was taking apart the bed in the master bedroom, he told me the screws to the slats were stripped and that I needed to go to a hardware store to get more right away or they could not put the bed together again at the new house.

Don't do it. What a waste of time and energy, these people couldn't possibly do anything wrong these are the type of people who will blame you for their wrong doing the type of people that value their time but not yours , so unprofessional and will not take responsibility or accountability for things that they do like overcharging the customers and underpaying employees I hope this information helps much love please do look at my reviews three out of 146 reviews are indeed movers quess what I'm in the process of…

Condensed version, original way too lengthy for this site. I am being generous with 2 stars here: 1. Est. was done by phone. No one came to look and assess appropriately like pro companies do. Their analysis - only 1 truck needed. 2. Ordered a lot of boxes and paper. Charged an extra 4% if a credit card used. Higher than merchant fees, so they profit. 3. Questioned the person who delivered the boxes to assure that 1 truck would work.

I wanted give these guys 5 stars, but after having our stuff in their “climate controlled” storage for a little over a year, some of our things broke. You know, like when you leave something outside on your porch. Brand new plastic boxes arrived crumbling, breaking apart. The mover said “oh that’s normal for plastic boxes”. Although we’ve had others for almost 10 years inside our apartment that never broke apart and crumbled. On top of all this we were missing a couple boxes.

I used Moving Team Six to move my mother's items out of her apartment and into storage when she passed away. The initial 2 men that came out were great. They were thorough and marked each box. However, then 3 more helpers came out because it was going slower than expected. Those 3 were awful. They threw in my mother's items without packing, no boxes were marked, and the boxes were not even sealed well. I had broken items when I opened the boxes. They even packed a garbage can WITH THE GARBAGE inside.

I'm very disappointed in the service of this company. It started out well and I was very happy, until they delivered my items which were in storage for 4 months. When they delivered my furniture, items were missing. They said that they had to put items in overflow. They were able to find a few items that were missing, but couldn't find others. They put it back on me that I had taken it and put it in another storage that I had. They basically were putting back their loss on me. I will never refer this company ever.

As a veteran family, we were excited to use Moving Team Six but would never use them again or recommend to others. We’ve moved across country multiple times with no issues but had countless issues with this in town move. Severe damage to multiple pieces of furniture, missing hardware to bed and other furniture, damage to property, and an inaccurate quote that resulted in significant increase in labor charges in the end. The company also provided minimal compensation for the damaged property.
