SCAM. DO NOT USE! Not sure if any of these 5 star reviews are real. Once my moms stuff got picked up by the terrible movers they hired, they all ghosted my mom. Ignored our calls, would hang up, would say they'll call back in 30 minutes and never call back. After a MONTH of ghosting and us thinking her stuff is stolen and her having to sleep on the floor of her new house and pay airbnb's, we finally got her stuff because a TRUCK DRIVER wanted to help us.

Stay away from this business based on my experience. Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a company handles them and in my case, there was no accountability and no real apology. My move was scheduled for March 29. On March 24, their representative confirmed the crew would arrive “as discussed” and asked me to accept the quote and pay a deposit to book the date. At no point was I given a clear deadline for the deposit or told that timing would affect scheduling, especially with weekend office closures.

The movers they recommended where absolutely far from professionals they were nice but nice doesn’t do the job no experience what so ever I asked for a 26 feet truck they came with a 22 thinking everything will fit I have rented a cube van for my most valuable assets so they Cosme come with me since I was moving from one province to another but it was a nightmare since they didn’t fit everything I have to Jam Pack the cube van thanks to the inexperienced damaging a lot of my belongings and Waldo didn’t do…

Moving Waldo – Nightmare Move We hired Moving Waldo for our move from Nova Scotia to Nanaimo, BC. Our belongings were picked up on October 20, but didn’t arrive until December 6 – 47 days later. The original delivery date was November 16, so the move was 18 days late. After the promised date passed, every attempt to get updates was frustrating. We were repeatedly told MW couldn’t reach Bryton, the subcontractor, and had no clear information.
Hello Tammy, I’m truly sorry for the delay and the stress this move caused you and your family. Waiting that long for your belongings during a cross-country relocation, especially with your mother-in-law involved, is not the experience we want anyone to have.
Disappointingly, half the companies I contacted to change my address replied with a message stating that the address couldn't be updated due to an error. Furthermore, since registering, I've been harassed by Bell, who call me three to four times a day. It's a shame, yet another Quebec company selling our information.

Never again. Totally bad experience. I was not sure about my box count and the rep did not seem concerned. The wrong size of truck was sent. My family ended up taking the rest of my stuff home till the delivery date.

Great experience with Moving Waldo and my agent, Dyar! This was a big inter-city move that could have been extremely stressful, but with Moving Waldo it was easy and efficient. The movers they found for us (Apollo) were careful, clean, and friendly (see pics of them posing with my kid who was obsessed with the big truck). They arrived on time (early) and we were charged a very fair rate that was still close to the quote even though it took longer than expected.

We had not moved in 40 years. Ashley from Moving Waldo was so helpful right from the start of our experience. She was sensitive and responsive to our needs and happy to answer all my questions. Five guys from Montreal Discount Moving arrived on time. This was a complicated move as We were moving to a condo that was still under renovation, plus we had a lot of art that needed gentle treatment and protection after the move was done (from renovation damage).

Our move was very unexpected, we were about to leave the country for vacation and just found out we had been accepted to our new home. We had no movers, boxes or plan on how to organize ourselves to move in two weeks upon our return. I gave Demenagement Le Capitaine 4 out of 5 stars. The truck arrived at the proper time. Specified time was between 9 and 10 AM. The movers Miguel and Allan arrived at 9:45 AM. They worked very hard from the get go. I had supplied them with coffee, water, Gatorade, and from Tim Horton's, a dozen donuts plus a package each of Trail Mix to keep up their energy. I did ask about lunch and Dyar had suggested lunch was not necessary to provide since they usually work throughout the day.
