Moral to the story, our furniture is now in our new house. That is the only good news. How they went about moving the furniture, not so good. 3 guys showed up at our old house, with 2 trucks. They were not wearing "uniforms" or tshirts to identify or represent themselves professionally. It was a very hot day, so I will give them grace for that. None of the furniture was wrapped to protect it from damage.
I called and booked my move several weeks in advance and received email confirmation of booking, however, come moving day the crew never showed up. I tried calling the office multiple times but no one picked up or returned my voicemails. I …
The owner of Mr. Mover came to my home to provide an estimate and sold me on the personal touch and commitment that we'd be taken care of. The movers who came were professional and efficient, but didn't adequately protect our furniture. Some was being prepped in our apartment and some down by the truck and I could be two places at once to catch it. For example, the cheap ikea bookshelf was wrapped in blankets, but our amish hardwood dining set was not all wrapped and was damaged.
A negative experience. A bookcase was destroyed and I was informed that it would be repaired. The company apparently works with a furniture restorer. Not only did I not receive a response from the restorer, I never received any kind of response from Mr Mover. Response to owner’s comments: You mention “ We did give the bookcase to Woodlanders to repair but unfortunately we are at the mercy of working within their guidelines and schedule.
Littering from the truck. Was following behind a Mr. Mover truck this morning going North on New Albany Rd. @8:40am passing over SR161 and noticed something fly out of the passenger window. Looking over at the side of the road, I see it is garbage; an empty juice bottle or something. Wasn't aware that people were ignorant enough to still do this type of thing in the modern age but I guess I was wrong. Not sure who it was or if this will ever make a difference but definitely not going to hire people like that.
They were late, took 15 min break each hour. Didn't bring big enough truck, even after having an estimate done on each piece to be moved. The driver had 2 children with him which to me was unacceptable and a liability. Then was asked to give my credit card information over the phone while all 3 workers were in the room listening. I used Mr Mover before but was truly disappointed this move in May 2017.
Truck drivers who have Delivery at this company are a company that does not care about our time, they talk very badly and are rude, avoid making deliveries for this company, you will waste your time and patience with them, I had an unpleasant experience with them and I also lost the load that I had already scheduled, this is my experience with them.
I am assuming you were making deliveries to Atlas Industrial Contractors on Huntley Rd. We no longer have a warehouse space, therefore you have the wrong company. Pam Jones Mr. Mover of Ohio

What an amazing team. The owners efficiently scheduled packing and moving dates to my needs. The team of movers were professional, on time, extremely careful with my possessions of memorabilia and art. And they were KIND. Truly a dream team.
My wife and I relocated from Powell OH to Wilmington NC. We obtained several estimates (varied by $1000’s) and Mr Mover provided us a very competitive guaranteed “not to exceed” quote. We were very impressed with everyone including Jeff the estimator and Stephanie and Pam at the office. Communication was excellent. Special shoutout to the moving team Eric, Yves and Donny. They arrived on time packed and loaded all of our belongings with great care and efficiency.
They are amazing, affordable, professional and everything good about a moving company! So long story short, I went with a company previous to finding Mr. Mover. The other company left all of my belongings in the garage, didn't distribute any of my boxes, and charged me a crazy expensive cost. Not to mention they charged me for supplies they didn't even use. Six men, 12 hours, thousands of dollars later, and I was not able to even begin unpacking my new house without first personally moving everything in.
We hired Mr. Mover for a local move between two four-bedroom houses. Jeff quickly and expertly examined our home and its contents and gave us a "guaranteed not to exceed" estimate -- a huge benefit of using this company, in my opinion. It was reassuring to me to know the maximum amount I would pay. I interacted on several occasions with Pam and Stephanie in the office. Both were very helpful, responsive, and personable. This is a family company, and it really feels that way.
