Where do I even begin? Derek came to my house TWICE to look at everything we were moving. He saw it all. So how in the world was the quote so unbelievably wrong? If you don’t know how to estimate a move after seeing the house twice, maybe you shouldn’t be giving estimates. Moving day was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I paid to have EVERYTHING packed. Yet somehow an entire cabinet was never packed. Then, despite knowing exactly what we had, they couldn’t fit everything on the truck.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. I’ve moved 10 times in the past 14 years, and this was the most unprofessional and disappointing experience I’ve had. Do not hire them. They milk the clock. …
Used this company once with great results. Had the same guys on a second move. They were lazy and careless and we had a lot of damage. Many items were not wrapped and got damaged. They only packed 3 TV’s and 2 were destroyed. I chose the $.60 per pound insurance due to the fact that the first move went so well. We received a small check which doesn’t begin to cover the damages or replacing the TV’s. I could have hired other movers for over $1000 less and wish I had.
I do not recommend Mr. Small Move . They broke two large pieces of furniture including an antique chest and a tall dresser in addition to a couple of small things during the move. I’m just now finishing unpacking and I have a few things missing, including a large jar full of coins that I saved for over three years and other home decoration items. I have looked in every box they packed and these items are not here. Things don’t just walk away and they claim no responsibility.
Mr Small Move canceled pick up the day before stating they could not pick up, palletize three pallets measure and weigh. This is basic 101 for a mover. Prices were very high and they admitted the Corvid Virus was a factor. Perhaps they are taking advantage of situation. Shame on them. Sales rep Ed did go look at job and provided an estimate. We used this service to move on 5/21. This is the 2nd time we have used this company. Our driver was Charley and the crew consisted of Aaron, Kevin, Nate and Eli. This was a whole house move and into a home with 2 stories. They were fantastic. Prompt, hard working polite, accommodating and fun. We would definitely recommend and use the again.

Moving is rarely anyone’s idea of a good time, but Aaron and Kevin somehow managed to make it exactly that. From the moment they arrived, they were the consummate professionals—respectful, thoughtful, strategic and incredibly efficient.
