My 3 Sons Moving - Richmond

3 issues: 1. When they came to my home to pick up all my items to move into their storage. It took four guys two trucks and 10 hours. Which is outrageous because I’ve never had it take that long. When I went to their storage to have my stuff loaded into the same size truck, it took them two guys and four hours. So I know I was severely overcharged For the first trip. 2. Their storage facility consists of a large warehouse with no walls. They put your items in a pile and then just put tape around the floor.

The worst experience I’ve ever had with a business. They raised the price multiple times. And then they overcharged, even after they got me to agree to a higher price or they wouldn’t start moving. They were the slowest movers I’ve ever used and I’ve used several. They charge by the hour and the workers purposefully seemed to lollygag around. Neighbors and a realtor witnessed the extremely slow pace and marveled. The workers didn’t even get the job half finished. A 2000 sq ft house was too much, too hard for them.

BUYER BEWARE! used this company for a local area move. Stored our stuff with them for 13 months. Was told space was climate controlled. When we received our goods they were covered in mold and mouse droppings. Our belongings were Scratched, broken, damaged and some things lost. Filed a damage claim and 8 weeks later received their “final” settlement offer, non negotiable, and 1/3 of our damages. Tried to talk with their management and owner but they would not return my calls.

I was very transparent with the amount of items needing to be moved. As the truck pulled up I knew it was not the correct size truck for my need. I let the drivers know and after reviewing the amount needing to be loaded they assured me it would be alright and they would “make it work”. An hour and a half later the truck was completely full with a quarter of my belongings remaining (with the back of my pick up full as well).

We had a large move done by this company and because of the size we had them send someone out to take photos of our belongings so we could ensure we received an accurate quote. We did NOT receive an accurate quote and it wasn’t until our belongings were in the trucks and moved two hours away were we told in order to move our belongings inside the house it was going to be an extra $1200.00 minimum.

I am very disappointed. The movers did not pack the truck correctly so I did not have enough space to put my stuff. I had items at neighbors houses. One of the workers said let the neighbor lift the exercise stuff. I was told by the company and the worker they could hook up a washing machine. After they hooked the machine up, it was leaking and soaked my new house floors. The builder took pics and told me to contact business. I was told they do not give refunds and they are not plumbers.

I hired My 3 Sons Moving in Richmond, KY to help with a home move, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. During the move, the crew broke my 85-inch flat screen TV due to clear negligence. They laid it flat in the truck — something that any reputable mover knows not to do — and crammed it in without proper protection. I have photos and videos showing the careless handling that led to the damage.

Absolutely do not use this company! They scammed me and my two young kids when we moved houses two counties away. The manager, Brittany, used her position to basically steal money from us and said “nothing we can do to help you.” The movers used two trucks, took them 12 total hours to get us moved 45 mins away despite us being the ones to box and pack everything.
