While they arrived on time and did manage to move most of what we asked them too... The movers took 5.5 hours to move my one bedroom 2 blocks away. My last moving company was not paid hourly. Took them about 3 hours total and I have pretty much the same amount of stuff I had then. They also lost our keys while moving. Did not offer to pay for the replacement fob. Finally they used an additional wardrobe box which cost is $45!??!

Worst move in company ….crew was focused on getting paid more than completing the task at hand…charged by the hour and achieved nothing after two hours..paid more than 500 dollars in less than 3 hours..I had to ask them to stop in the middle and live everything as it was.Was just signing paper after paper and paying while the job was being done…Crew was unprofessional and took ages just to put a single bed together.I had two other beds left that I had to call an independent contractor to finish the job at a…

In addition to their lack of care of items and misplacing items, which have still not been found, the third party who handles claims is very unresponsive and will make sure the claims time out so you don’t receive payment. I asked questions and in between each response I had to wait at least a week to hear back from the third party company.

I put a $100 deposit down with them to hold my spot. They told me the deposit was fully refundable. After deciding to go with a different company and letting them know with in 24 hours of putting the deposit down they claimed to be unable to refund the deposit. If you look up their yelp reviews, their BBB reviews they are running quite the scam it seems like. I am super glad I decided to cancel with them and go with another company. It seems like they do this a lot or misquote people prices.

After researching three different moving companies, my wife and I decided on neighbors for a variety of reasons. The company seemed professional and touted their reliability among other things. The zoom inventory video for a cost estimate was very useful and the quote provided was very reasonable. My wife and I packed our two bedroom apartment and had a plan set up for move day, as we also have a dog. On the day of the move I was called at 8 am and was told that they would have to cancel for short staff.

On day of the move at the time of expected arrival, I received a call stating that they were short staffed and needed to cancel. Considering that I took a day off of work and reserved an elevator for a specific move-out time at the condo meant that I was already committed to this day. They call back in 20 minutes stating that they'll be able to send over a crew in 4 hours. So 2 guys came from Neighbors Moving 4 hours after the expected move out time.

My move for a one bedroom apartment on the second floor of a building with an elevator to another elevator building somehow took 11 hours. I have moved at least eleven times in my life and never in my life has a move taken that amount of time or cost me so much money for a o local move. It took 6 hours to even load my one bedroom apartment onto the truck. Literally 6 hours. And I don’t have that much stuff and was fully packed.

I have never felt so completely ripped off and scammed by a moving company, and I have moved many many times. This was a very simple local move from a 450 sq foot apartment with an elevator. I was fully packed and ready to go, with very minimal furniture - everything I own took up maybe 1/3 of the truck. I could not believe how long it took for my belongings to be loaded into that truck. It was a two man team, with only one of them seeming to be there to work.
