Was late to our rescheduled move time by almost two hours which was frustrating considering I had friends who had to drive a ways to come and help. In their defense, I did have to adjust the times a bit, but it was still an inconvenience since they had confirmed the time change. Had two pieces of furniture that were broken and damaged, and they initially said it was not due to their packing, but instead because they had moved the furniture with items inside.
Please don't be dishonest or misleading in your review...You are blaming us for a damage that no one knows what caused it. As you just said, you had a friend helping you move (aswell as helping yourself). This is why it's troublesome to allow clients to help out with their move.
Smoking in the storage unit I rent. Even the storage managment said something to the moving crew, filed a report, and notified the person who hired them. I called the number for the moving company and the guy who answered was rude. I told him his crew had been smoking in the storage building in the entire storage building smelled like smoke. He said “I can guarantee you they’re not.
You're not a client of ours first off... Second off, the crew was not smoking inside the facility. The manager at the storage unit personally came over and told our crew members to ignore you and to pay you no mind.
Very disappointed. When I called and made the appointment I told the guy it was an emergency and it had to be done yesterday. He said he had a couple jobs but he could do this move between 5 and 7. I waited at the apartment, thus endangering my life for him. He called at almost 5 saying it would be about another hour. I said ok. I waited there till 730 I called and text and got no response. Upon talking to him today they were busy till 12.
No sir as I told your wife, last night was inconvenient and I apologized about it. We won't do your move cause you said our lives are in danger being there. You told me you risked your own life being there late even. I have two kids and most my men have kids and families.

Here’s a polished review you could post on Google, Facebook, or anywhere else: I don’t write reviews very often, but Next Chapter Moving absolutely deserves one. This was, without question, the best moving experience I’ve ever had. From the moment they arrived, I could tell they truly cared about doing the job right. They treated every piece of my furniture and every box as if it were their own.
Excellent movers, extremely professional, reasonably priced, and happy to work. The guys kept me informed they were running late but since they charge by the hour they let me know exactly when they were clocking in, out, and on break. I found them to be very professional, extremely helpful, and at a reasonable price. I've never used movers before so I was nervous about our very fragile and heavy stuff like our tall mirrors, glass tables, etc. They wrapped everything and took care of it like it was their own.
I have moved SO MANY TIMES, and for over half of those times I have hired movers, so I know what I’m talking about when saying a moving company is great or absolutely terrible. I called NCLLC a week before I needed to move (very last minute AND holiday season), and Dustin (the owner) was more than happy to be able to accommodate me. Even while working, he was prompt in communicating with me, and also sent me a long text reassuring me when I was stressed because of past movers trauma (lol).
I called Next Chapter Moving Company LLC after reaching out to several other moving companies. Some never answered or returned my call, and another company (Norwood Moving Co.) initially responded by text but then stopped replying when I was trying to finalize the booking. Thankfully, Dustin, the owner of Next Chapter Moving, called me back within minutes of me leaving a voicemail. I needed help the very next day—which happened to be a Sunday—and he made it happen.
