The company customer service is terrible. The lady who answers the phones is very weird and uncooperative. Unfortunately I decided to choose them to move my stuff and I totally regret it! A kid named Tim I guess has a big ego and rude, he got mad because I was wrapping my mirror! Also, when I asked him to wrap my leather chair he said ‘I’m in this business for 3 years and I’m the business owner and I know what I’m doing’ very immature very unprofessional 👎🏻

Arrived 20 min later than scheduled time (building only had two hour window for freight elevator reservation). Movers were cordial but inefficient. I had a one-bedroom in-building move from 5th floor to 12th floor so expected something quick and easy. Ended up being 3 hours. You could do a two-building move in 4 hours (as stated in another review on Yelp). I was on a tight budget (expecting a baby on a single parent income) and ended up going over budget.
Hi Caroline! Every review is as important to us as any other. And, of course, we are concerned about this review. However, we didn't see a problem then and we don't see a problem now with your order.
I had the worst experience of my life with this moving company. The movers were moving very slowly, seemingly to get extra money out of me. When I asked them to wrap my furniture properly, they got mad and refused to do it. They even left my furniture on the ground and left without completing the job. To make matters worse, when I wrote a review about my experience, they refused to apologize and claimed that they didn't provide me with service due to my behavior, which is a complete LIE.

They only accept zelle transfers ?!?! Shady. What difference does it make how you get paid? You’re a moving company, most people put these big expenses on credit cards. It’s 2025- get with the program!
Hello Dave! Although you were not our client, we would still like to address your review directly. According to Illinois state law, moving companies are required to accept cash and checks, while credit card payments are optional.
I moved 2 months ago. The company is beyond terrible, one of the packers was aggressive and angry when corrected over an error in packing, deeply disrespectful attitude! Would not recommend to anyone!

The way the young guys packed the truck was careless and some stuff was not wrapped as requested. On the top of that, they were very disrespectful and rude. I don't recommend them at all!

These guys are real. First they are on time on the schedule , two guys as a team moving stuff with 17 foot truck ,great communication perfect teamwork no damages on my furnitures Professional on moving They use blanks and straps if necessary. They charging by hourly, they are working hard i asked them to take a break but they just rest five minutes and back to work by themselves. I bought pizza for us but.while one guy eating another guy keeps moving and switching. So my load keeps moving even if at lunch time.

Very quick response to my online inquiry about moving. I had to hire 3 movers, because of the size and weight of some of my furniture and all three of them were very professional and polite. They took the time to remove a light fixture so there was no risk of damaging it. They packed all my stuff so efficiently and nicely in my uhaul. A few days later they came back out to move me into my new home. They once again took the time to plan how move the bigger pieces so there would be no damage to my walls.

If you are in need of affordable professional movers, do yourself a favor and choose Nice Guys. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my decision to utilize their service. I am highly satisfied with the service provided by this moving company. When I first called to schedule the move, Natalia responded with great courtesy and professionalism, and she provided the estimate promptly, which allowed me to confirm the booking right away. This morning, the two movers who came to assist with the move—although I do not know their names—were exceptionally professional, efficient, and courteous. They handled all furniture with great care, and we were very impressed with their work quality.
