Awful experience—especially for our first time ever hiring movers, which is already stressful enough. Everything started off fine. Someone came out, walked through our home, gave us a quote, and we accepted. We put down a deposit and confirmed a 9 AM arrival time for moving day. So as far as we knew, everything was set. Funny how there was no confusion when it came to taking our deposit, but suddenly there were “communication issues” when it was time to actually show up.

Called Tuesday, appt made for Wednesday (next day) between 4 and 5. No show by 5:10 and called office and spoke to Maria who put me on hold while she called to see when he would be here, and he told her 45 to 50 minutes which should have been about 6pm. . NO SHOW by 6:30 so I called twice to see where he was and they disconnected to call both times....WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THEM.

This business is a total scam. Quoted nearly $10,000 to move a small 2 bedroom house and half of it is already packed. Don’t use this company. They will rip you off big time. Their response to this review is ridiculous. I moved 30 minutes away. Not a long distance. Again, they quoted me $10,000. I was able to find a very good moving company that charges me $4,000. They were respectful of my property and nothing was broken. Please use Alpha in Delaware Water Gap for your move.

Damaged my brand new bed and tv.... The t v was damaged beyond repair, and you could not even see anything but white lines on the screen. I was moving from a small apartment to another small house. And didn't have many items. I was given a 4 hour window, they ended up taking 5 hours and charging me. Double from my original quote for that extra hour.i did get reimbursed but not for the entire value of the damages..definitely would not recommend this company to anyone.

They didn't complete the job that they were paid for. I ended up having to rent a uhaul in addition to what I already spent on the movers.

I used them twice. Once to move from the Philly suburbs to Scranton for a clerkship and once to move back from Scranton to the Philly suburbs when my clerkship ended. They were excellent both times.
