Had appointment to move equipment. I advised of old concrete steps involved and asked if he wanted to look at them first. He assured me it wouldn't be a problem. Crew arrived and chose not to move equipment after I made many arrangements to get it done on the date the moved selected. Still no call back to discuss details.
whilst this was awhile ago I do remember this job. The concreate steps were not the issue. The issue was that you had told us "equipment" was 500-800 pounds. Yet when we arrived on site we were unable to even move the machine, We then found a sticker on the piece of equipment that said the machine…

Northern Michigan Movers just moved me from Metro Detroit to Bellaire. Kim was great to communicate with and kept all her promises. She scheduled a convenient pick-up date and her crew was on time and very skilled. It was tough because we had to bring a sleeper sofa from my 3rd floor loft down 2 flights of stairs to the entrance. Not one scuff or scratch on my delicate hand painted railings!

We hired NMM and all I can say is VERY IMPRESSIVE! My partner and I came from Las Vegas, NV, and movers there are a dime a dozen, but that doesn't mean they are good at what they do. I wish we could have flown NMM team out to Vegas to have packed our trailers for us:). NMM was on time, communicated well, and very professional. When they discovered damage from the previous movers (who were horrible) they asked us to come take a look before it was moved and offered advice on how we should handle it.

We were very pleased with our moving experience with Northern Michigan Movers. The crew was efficient, knowledgeable, and extremely polite and friendly. They worked nonstop and made both loading and unloading go much faster than I thought it would. They were right on time and kept us up to date on arrival. The office staff was so helpful on the phone and with email, setting things up and answering questions and keeping us informed. This is a well-run business with great personnel.
