Stay away from this company!! They gave me a quote to move a piano(Richard), then when I called back,to complete the move,price went up $147.00 dollars!! The lady that Richard put on the phone, said " Richard works in the shop, his job is repair,not quotes" Beware!!! Would have given Zero star review,but you cant post without one star!!!
I had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had with someone from Northside music. I assume I spoke to the same person as the previous reviewer, and he was completely dismissive when I told him what I was in the market …

Northside Music moved a family piano from Valparaiso,IN to Columbus OH. Move was well orchestrated, efficient and very careful with the piano. The young men were organized and polite. Thank you for your care.
Piano sounds so much better after Andrew tuned and assessed it. Very personable and punctual. We are very impressed with the professional, helpful, and honest work.

Updated to a 4-star review after Milo addressed my concerns about the veneer. I appreciated him understanding my disappointment with how my original phone call was handled. He touched up the veneer, including more than just the two spots I was concerned about. Thank you! Original 2-star review: Really disappointed by the way Northside Music handled moving my family piano after servicing it for over 30 years. I had them move it from Lafayette to Indy for $450.
Hello Mrs. Frost, I'm so sorry to hear about your disappointing service from us. We strive to handle every piano with care. I was not on the moving crew, and I will talk to them, but veener does come unglued, or even get caught occasionally.
We recently stopped at Northside Music to look for a piano. Milo was very helpful as he asked good questions and gave us good insights into what would fit our needs. He showed us several in our price range, explained the differences and helped us narrow it down to the best piano for us. My wife is the player and she was able to compare the "feel" of the different makers and models and we ended up with a right fit. The delivery was smooth and it looks great and blesses us every time she plays it!
