Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!! They broke numerous pieces of furniture and instead of informing me they hid the pieces in the closet so that I didn't notice it until they were gone. They complained about how long the move took when they toured the apartment and gave me a quote prior to the move. The quote we received over the phone was $100 less then what they quoted when they got there the day of the move.
i agree with Angela Tabereaux... HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE COMPANY! i only put one star because there is no option for zero stars. we also (like Angela) were charged more than what was quoted. we are a disabled couple and quite frankly we are shocked how ocean movers "played dirty" and totally took advantage of us... in a disgraceful way. just like Phyllis Johnson said in her ONE STAR review.....
My dad Hired this company to move my stuff from Florida to Minnesota. The third party that they use lied to us and said that packaging was included in the price. Not only that, but they booked the wrong size unit to put our stuff to Minnesota. Resulting in me having to leave many belongings behind. Honestly I could have moved past that now as I'm unboxing things because I gotten into my new apartment. I am seeing that most of my belongings are destroyed. Scuffed or completely broken.
We are sad to hear of your experience, but we are not the company your dad hired. You are most likely looking for Ocean Moving & Storage. We are Ocean Movers. We have never outsourced our moves to third parties
Lazy, rude and disrespectful; they’ll be days late with 0 communication and act like it’s your fault. And they lose stuff and get mad at you for it

This was the worst move ever! I hired Ocean Mover to move me from a small apartment and storage unit on May 28, 2016. This was sold as a 2 hour time slot, During those 2 hours they manage to break my bed and destroy my dresser. Their was a truck full of blankets, but they felt the need not to use them. I was locked out of my storage unit and was told I would not get my furniture until I payed my bill. This was the scam to get me to go over my 2 hour so I would be bill for an additional hour.
DO NOT USE 3 BROTHERS MOVING & OCEAN MOVING AND STORAGE – VETERAN FRIENDLY IS A LIE – AND I DON’T BELIEVE THEY ARE TRULY VETERANS!!! After hounding me with a plethora of calls, I hired 3 Brothers Moving. ONCE THEY GET YOUR SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLAR DEPOSIT, THEY WILL NOT CALL YOU BACK!!! I must have called 20 times and either got an attitude on the other end or voicemail, regardless, they NEVER CALLED ME BACK AS REQUESTED TIME AND TIME AGAIN! To top it off, they lie.

I hired this company about 1 week before my move. I was moving downstairs in my same apartment. I needed the Movers to move about 4 heavy items as I am a women. 1 mattress, 1 dresser and a couch that comes apart in blocks. When I made the reservation I was told my total for the hour would be $159. The rep I spoke to said he will take off the $59 leaving $100 for an hour and any prorated amount for any additional time after that. The rep took my card info, making me pay a deposit of $100.
We are sorry to hear about your experience, but we are not the company you hired. If you Google the phone number, it is actually All My Sons. We do not charge deposits for local moves and do not have a fuel charge.
We have used Ocean movers in the past and we're completely happy with our move. We buy and sell our homes every couple years and in most cases we downsize in each move. Our moves have never been more than 700 and in most cases 550-675 to move all our items. We box our own things, many are in stackable bins, we break down all furniture that can be and also blanket our own furniture to make the move as fast as possible. This move was completely the opposite.

I give Ocean Movers an A+ rating for our local move. They were responsive to several scheduling changes, and on time on the day of the move. The crew was courteous, efficient, and quite helpful in placing items as directed in the new location. We had no damage to our furniture or boxed goods. I would hire the company again, and will recommend it to friends.
We contacted Ocean Movers to move our 1900 square foot 3 bedroom home furnishings. They were on time courteous, diligent and they got the job done. Ocean Movers used a three man crew to move us. They are very experienced movers and they did a great job for us. The price was just right for your pocket book. They successfully move us in to our new home in just a few hours. We were so pleased with the worked that they did. We used them a second time to have furnishing delivered to our home.
I have moved multiple times and have used multiple companies to move. However, never have I had such an amazing experience than with Ocean Movers. The four men that loaded our stuff (Kenny, James, Onur, Maurice ( I hope I spelled his name right), were very professional, very careful, and quite speedy. They were extremely careful to ensure our items were not only packed correctly and securely, but that they would arrive at the other end almost 8 hours away, in the same condition as when they were packed.
I have used giant interstate movers (United, etc) as well as smaller, local movers in the past. For both in town and interstate moves, and off all my moves, Ocean Movers have been the best. There is no reason to pay 2x the cost for a company like United, when these guys were better. The movers literally never stopped. I told them to take a break and they didn’t want to. I asked them if they wanted food both days and they were initially resistant, but I believe movers should be fed.
